⚠️Tegaru, especially the diaspora: please #WakeUp for GOD’s sake
Instead of getting lost in petty debates over Getachew Reda’s performance in the interview, let us focus on our real responsibility: relentlessly demanding #Justice for the victims of the #TigrayGenocide.
Mehdi Hasan and Al Jazeera have now openly confirmed and stated loud and clear that a genocide took place in #Tigray.
Holding perpetrators accountable and securing justice for the victims must remain our absolute top priority as members of the diaspora fighting for justice.
Tomorrow marks 5 years since the Tigray genocide began under Ethiopian and Eritrean dictatorships. Countless innocent civilians killed, deliberately starved, hospitals devastated, schools destroyed, food systems shattered, women and girls raped as weapon of war. We won't forget their war crimes.
#RememberTigray #TigrayGenocide‼️
Before sunrise in Axum during Filseta, the faithful gather with glowing twaf in hand. Priests lead the crowd around the ancient church, chanting ‘Christ, forgive us for our sins.’
A centuries-old tradition that lights the darkness with faith and hope.
📍Axum, Tigray
🚨 The first bullet that could completely shutter the #COHA was shot yesterday by Abiy financed and organized forces formed in Afar as part of Abiy’s ploy to create bloodshed between Tigrayan factions.
This Abiy financed and sponsored force that ironically calls itself “Tigray Peace Force” has shot at its former comrades in the Tigray Defense Forces. This would probably lead to the declaration of the end of the Pretoria agreement as I feared and expressed it in my recent @EthiopiaInsight article - “Abiy’s war script”.
The last chance to avert the war for anyone with influence is this next few days.

What is TIRA#2 doing? Did it inform the international community? Did it give a press release and conference?
Day 1726 of the #TigrayGenocide:
Sexual violence in #Tigray wasn't random.
It was orchestrated, systematic & genocidal. That's not collateral damage. That's a weapon of genocide.
Denial is complicity. #Tigrayans deserves justice.

They survived gang rape, saw family slaughtered, and still live in exile.

The international community must urgently address the dire humanitarian situation in Tigray, where displaced people are dying from lack of basic necessities. #UpholdPretoriaAgreement@Refugees@KenRoth@CanadaFP@UN https://t.co/k1EV0Uk0IW

Before the war she used to work in a café in Humera, #Tigray. When the war broke out she fled with her son to Mai Kadra. @POTUS
