@russelldegraff 100% agree on transferability/direct pay for the ITC. the issue i'm struggling with, when it comes to a condo HOA, is that i thought a solar panel had to be depreciable to count as §48 "energy property."

i've been doing a bit of volunteer work lately related to WA's clean buildings law. right now the law is just about energy efficiency, but it seems like this should really be a central part of the definition of a "clean building."
