Proud to back the team that’s building Earth’s operational intelligence layer.
We are honored to announce our investment in @SkyfiApp 's $12.7M Series A round, co-led by @BuoyantVentures and @IronGateCapital Advisors.
In a world where geospatial data is as critical as the air we breathe, SkyFi's AI-first platform is breaking down the final barriers. They make satellite imagery and actionable analytics accessible, intuitive, and affordable for everyone—from defense analysts to agri-tech startups—democratizing intelligence without the need for specialized expertise.
Our investment thesis in action:
🔹 Dual-use as a foundation: We seek companies that serve robust commercial markets while addressing critical national and global security needs. SkyFi’s single platform does both at scale.
🔹 Founders defining categories: Luke Fischer @lukefischer and Bill Perkins @bp22 are not just building a product; they are establishing a new paradigm for real-time Earth intelligence, moving from static imagery to dynamic, decision-ready insights.
🔹 Convergence of massive trends: The Earth observation sector is projected to unlock $3.8T in economic value by 2030 (WEF & Deloitte), driven by advancements in AI, cloud compute, and space infrastructure. SkyFi sits at the nexus of these forces.
Welcome to the portfolio, SkyFi. The future isn't just being observed — it's being built with your data.

The Global Cooperation Barometer 2026 report from the World Economic Forum @wef in Davos clearly outlines the paradox of our era. Investments in frontier tech (from AI to semiconductors) are breaking records, yet the world of tech growth is becoming increasingly fragmented.
In this context, our investment partner Viktor Shpakovsky @shpakovskycom highlighted in his commentary for Forbes Middle East @Forbes_MENA_ what we see as the central challenge: the key threat is not so much geopolitical turbulence, but the growing divide between those who have access to capital and capabilities and those who do not.

The year 2026 has begun, and we invite you to explore the key deep-tech trends that will define it.
Our General Partner Alexandra Vidyuk @bastinda has just published in @Forbes an analysis examining the fundamental shifts at the intersection of physics, economics, and engineering. The core thesis: the future belongs to those who can build where ambition meets the constraints of the physical world.
At Beyond Earth Ventures, we don't just track these trends, we invest in their architects.
Here are a few examples of critical focus areas and our portfolio companies already bringing them to life:
🔗 'Earth-space duality' is a tangible competitive advantage.
Technologies that solve critical challenges on Earth while enabling operations in space offer unparalleled scaling potential. For instance, @trans_celestial is building high-throughput laser connectivity for underserved terrestrial networks, simultaneously laying the groundwork for future space-based data links.
⚡ Power for frontier environments is emerging as its own asset class.
Reliable, dense energy for extreme settings — from remote data centers to the lunar surface — has become a strategic investment category. @TandemPV is advancing perovskite-on-silicon tandem solar technology, targeting record efficiency to power both terrestrial installations and mass/volume-constrained systems.
🌙 Lunar and orbital infrastructure is transitioning from concept to commercialization. The space economy is maturing: the focus is shifting from launch to mobility, servicing, and in-situ resource utilization. @LunarOutpostInc develops autonomous robotic platforms for terrestrial mining and is a pioneer in lunar mobility and prospecting.
These and other themes form the core of our investment thesis at Beyond Earth Ventures, where we back founders building the foundational infrastructure for the next economy: on Earth and beyond.
