@London_W4 Privately Owned Public Space - owned 50/50 by Reuben Brothers and Jarvis family. They'll be worried about being sued - and since it's private land, can move people on with their security teams pretty arbitrarily. One of the many spaces now where you're a customer, not a citizen.

@bbclaurak I've supported Laura for years, but this reveals at least 1 of 2 things:
1) Her sources are so poor that she spread misinformation to the masses
2) She's Tory mouthpiece
Either are unfitting for the presenter of BBC's flagship political show.
She needs to resign.
@PositivityWho put front and centre reflecting the BBC's commitment to promoting our favourite show. I think it's no bad thing that the Conservatives see the progress that the institution of Doctor Who is making. Let's be thankful the BBC is appreciating the show.
@PositivityWho The BBC is constantly under the threat of dissolution by the Conservatives, and it would play right into Tory hands to not turn up at Conference (a tradition for both main political parties for many, many years) - they would say the BBC was being biased. Doctor Who has been 1/2

There used to be a sort of point to parties doing post-10pm expectation management spin - it was plausible enough to genuinely have an impact on the narrative.
Now it's become a ritual which just happens out of respect for the tradition.
