WTF @NotionHQ ... users around the world have lost masses of data in the last few hours. Databases missing, work lost. What's going on? You have backups, right?
@ChrisMasterjohn 5. Have people tried it in the current outbreak? Wouldn't know where to check. Has it been successful in basic influenza in the past? Ditto. Have you researched it ... either how it has been successfully before, or physiologically whether it could do what's claimed of it. Thanks!
@ChrisMasterjohn 3. Basically it's a preservative which apparently messes with the lipid layer around certain viruses (including herpes, ebola, and indeed Coronaviruses); There appears to be a huge community of herpes people who use it instead of antiviral meds, so it seems to do what is claimed
@ChrisMasterjohn 1. I'm wondering why I've seen so little written about BHT and Coronavirus, and it feels like your speciality would be perfect to talk about it ...
@LowCarbRD Referring to it as "fruit and vegetables" as if it's a single concept is part of the problem. F is very different to V. Less F because of rhe sugar. More V because of nutrition! 😉
Sleep apnea! @ouraring I just realised that Ōura should include a "potential sleep apnea" rating. Maybe looking for breaks in respiration? Scale of 0 to 5? Won't be perfect, but an indication of potential problems could be amazing!
A memory has been transferred from one marine snail to another by injecting RNA from one to another. The RNA is thought to induce epigenetic changes in the nucleus of neurons, thereby storing the memory. https://t.co/oExKN2sfEE
"Medical mystery" says a new report: "something happened in 1980" that suddenly made healthcare costs rise and US life expectancy drop. Here's one thing that happened in 1980: the Dietary Guidelines, which caused a vast increase in carbohydrate consumption https://t.co/AdA1vD2DaG
@ChrisMasterjohn Salted shmalted. I actually enjoy raw unsalted macadamias :) That said, will research phytates, don't know much about that. Thanks. PS. Ur podcast on glycine has been life-changing.
@ChrisMasterjohn Hey Chris. Good news is I’ve been following ur podcast a long time. Bad news is I thus can’t remember exactly when u said this ... but u once made a comment about nuts being good for you@but shouldn’t eat too many. Why not? Recommended limit? Yes, raw unsalted
Hey @ramit - saw this and thought of what the equivalent might be in ZeroToLaunch context. You think there are lessons to be had in attracting and monetising an audience in this? Thanks! https://t.co/1eTz8VFKak
@bengreenfield Thanks Ben. But don't u think that *any* use would be overuse, given the extent to which*any* colonic would destroy so much of the biome?
Given extent to which #microbiome discussed on ur @bengreenfield podcasts, I wanted to ask ... do u think #colonics drstroy your gut bacteria? I know they feed you probiotocs after a treatment, but I'm thinking about the other 100s or 1000s is strains that will never come back!
