I agree with most of this Adam. I do however think that the FEs going straight on-chain was the right thing to do.
The Intersect budget process just isn’t working. Funding at the on-chain treasury level should not be run like Catalyst. Intersect was meant to be an alternative to the CF, where members drive the direction, instead of a Swiss board.
Until Intersect course corrects on its role and purpose, our ability as an ecosystem to execute the continuation of the Cardano project in a strategic manner will be forever hampered.
Yeah, it is really disappointing that members are not able to lead the discussion about what value they want Intersect to deliver to Cardano.
I don’t know if it is a power hungry board, poor leadership or just inexperienced staff, but right now it doesn’t feel very “blockchain”. I don’t believe anyone is “bad” or operating with malice, they just don’t seem to understand what is important for running a members based organisation of this nature.
If @TapTools is a public good, then maybe it should be delivered by a not for profit community owned entity, until such time as a path to it being provided as a decentralised service can be developed.
Do we have such an entity 🤔
@phillewisit@TapTools These types of fundamental tools should run similar to stake pools, where anyone can choose to spin up a 'node' and start serving the data, and be rewarded for work done.
Can @IntersectMBO coordinate this, and move a privately develop software platform to a public good?
Mesh SDK is Hard Fork ready so you can keep building with our stack as you are used to :)

After years of successfully managing Summit, CF pull pin due to grant denial.
While managing the event successfully for more than half a decade, since the emergence of Treasury, CF will now preside over winding up plans after narrowly missing a benevolent payment from Cardano blockchain’s new honeypot. While devoted ADA holders hold plane tickets and hotel bookings made to attend the announced event, CF cancel all plans and refuse to seek an alternative strategy to conduct Cardano’s premiere business development annual event.
This typo (accidentally) accurately sums up the situation. Previously there was leadership from CF to make the Summit happen. But now that same leadership has defaulted to ‘givernance’. Just give us free money, and we’ll put on the Summit. no free money, no Summit.
Last year we were told the high ticket price was for the sustainability of future Summits, but it was not the case.
This is a really interesting idea. What do you guys think? Cardano Summit Globally on https://t.co/N2gfZpbmVR? We could treat it like the world's fair and build lots of special zones for each Dapp and project

What does the average ada holder think is more important for #Cardano, feature upgrades to the infrastructure or increased adoption of the existing infrastructure?
@phillewisit@QuasarSure Waiting for the next upgrade will always be like standing on the platform waiting for the next train (whenever that comes).
If the current infrastructure meets requirements, build on it
