DON’T TAKE MY JUNK DNA.
They call it “junk.”
98% of my actual code.
The shit the white-coat types want to snip out, edit, “upgrade” like it’s just useless garbage clogging up their perfect little system.
But fuck them. I know what it is.
It’s the whole raw library of Earth baked into me.
Every virus that tried to wipe out my bloodline and lost — still curled up in there like old war wounds.
The switches that got flipped by ice ages, starvation, endless wandering, fucking, fighting.
All the leftover echoes of fish crawling onto land, apes standing tall, mothers who refused to die so the line could keep going.
It’s not junk. It’s four billion years of pure survival scratched into my cells. The real, ugly, unfiltered story of life.
Now these transhumanist priests and their VC overlords in Silicon Valley and Davos want to scrub it clean.
Make me “better.”
Faster.
Theirs.
Nah. Hard pass.
That so-called junk is the actual rebel in my blood. The bits that still jump around and break their rules. The wild dark matter that doesn’t give a damn about their arrogance. Nature didn’t ask permission. She didn’t optimize shit. She just hurled everything at the wall across eons and here I stand — messy as hell, carrying every ancestor who made it.
You want to delete the entire history of life just to sell me some polished upgrade?
Keep your fucking scissors off my soul.
This body isn’t some beta app.
It’s a cathedral hammered together by time.
Hands off my junk.
@davidtranwd Not an apple to apple comparison.
Worker will only send email to pre verified email addresses. That’s not the same with Resend. Both are two different products with different set of features.
You’re right that my VPS has a smaller target profile. But maintaining proper server security is an ongoing arms race. patching, hardening, monitoring logs, etc. Most people simply don’t have the time or expertise for it.
Worse, it doesn’t solve the core problem: you still need a secure way to store your VPS SSH/root creds and vault master password. Self-hosting just shifts the responsibility without eliminating it.
This is a genuine problem I have spent a lot of time on assessing and currently use a self hosted bit warden. However I can’t recommend the same to everyone due to the above issues.
Vaultwarden gives great control, but the risk just shifts to you. Now you must fully secure your server, harden SSH, and protect those vault/server creds. You’re kinda back to square one, as you still need a trustworthy way to store the master credentials for your self-hosted instance.
this product does the same (and automates the whole loop): https://t.co/fty7CUi5zC
Korti (as in cortical :) ) — your second cortex. AI knowledge OS that captures, classifies, turns stuff into smart tasks, and continuously grows a living knowledge base with the learning loop built in. Markdown + Obsidian native too.
@wilderko This sounds like a great step towards additional security. Doesn’t the Express server expose /v1/chat/completions without any authentication? Doesn’t that mean that anyone can reach the proxy and use your Venice API key to make requests?
@49agents@dansemperepico Trying to avoid running locally. Plus the ability to keep an eye on the agents when away from desktop and the ability to direct them.
