@FEYINtheOXYGEN Lastly, as a user, I'd want to see reviews on the product search page. Right now, I have to click a product to see how many stars it has.
The design is beautiful and a GREAT start! These are some of the things I might tweak. 😉
@FEYINtheOXYGEN Looks great!
Maybe consider using a darker font color in product details (on screen 3) to make it more accessible. That color could be difficult for people with vision impairment.
@FEYINtheOXYGEN Also, maybe try to use less uniform padding and try to use white space to group related elements. Example: The [ + 1 - ] element looks like it is more connected to "Reviews" instead of being connected to the "Add to bag" function.
@FerhatiDjamel@druids01@zander_supafast Very beautiful! Great work! 🙌
You might consider checking color choices for accessibility. For example, on the Chocolate Brownie flavor, the white text overlapping that light-brown color only has a contrast ratio of ~2.5:1. Ideally, you'd want to hit at least 4.5:1 if not 7:1.
I bought a brand new iPad a little over a year ago and it won't support the most important (and needed) feature of the new OS update? 😡 Seriously @Apple? People buy Apple products because we expect them to be supported and updated for at LEAST a COUPLE of years. #AppleEvent
@sarahdoody I’m in the process of redesigning my portfolio / resume now. I’ve got some unique ideas I want to experiment with. Not looking forward to all of the coding I’m going to have to do though. I haven’t written code in years be I’m pretty sure I’m going to be RUSTY. 😂
As a ...
– mobile app user
I want to...
– see a notification badge
so that...
– I open the app and visit every screen looking for the culprit to get rid of it
Quote by a forest ranger at Yosemite National Park on why it is hard to design the perfect garbage bin to keep bears from breaking into it: “There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists.”
You are shockingly susceptible to subtle changes in marketing. I’ve seen sales increase by $100,000+ for a company by slightly changing the shade of green of their website’s buttons. #ux#design#marketing
@BigfootSql@billymoat@sanjazakovska I don’t disagree with you about the purpose of QA. We are aligned on that.
My comment was in response to what you said (to someone who reframed this discussion around the UX profession).
@StrychnineCure @BigfootSql@billymoat@sanjazakovska It’s very important to assume positive intent about our users. ☺️ It’s also okay to acknowledge that there will be outliers at times that aren’t representative of the typical user. But, you also can’t use that as an excuse when you’re design fails. 😂
@PaintFromTheHip @sanjazakovska@Popehat Marketing: What if we make the star an add-on feature? We can also include it in our Shape Bucket Premiere+ package!
@BigfootSql@billymoat@sanjazakovska I’ll say it. Sometimes it is the user’s fault. I’ve watched thousands of hours of testing and it’s ALMOST never the user’s fault...
Enter “guy who tries to put his name in the clearly-labeled ‘date’ input field, ignores validation, and submits his name over and over”. 😂
@mhebrank@sanjazakovska It depends on the level of complexity of the UI! I work on tax software. The US tax code is crazy enough that it can be hard to catch all of the different possibilities. One task I worked on this year had over 100,000 permutations. And we’re pretty sure we covered them all. 😅
