Spot prediction markets force you to lock the full size of the bet. Liquidity dies. Hedging dies.
I submitted a paper to the @Ledger N3XT Research Competition on why event markets need leveraged perps, and why an AI agent must not hold the keys.
Paper below.
The bottleneck is capital. A YES/NO token still demands $1 locked for $1 of exposure. That splits books, starves makers, and blocks real hedges.
Leverage fixes the lock. It also creates a risk that BTC perps never see. An event price lives between 0 and 1. Near resolution it jumps. Standard liquidation lags that gap. Bad debt prints. Queue-based ADL then taxes the best traders first.
The paper designs around that gap.
A virtual AMM prices the contract without a custodial reserve. A continuous funding rate pulls the perp back to the oracle spot. A terminal circuit breaker at 3% and 97% halts the market and settles at the band, not at 0 or 1. If insurance fails, losses socialize pro-rata across winning PNL only. Principal stays senior.
That is the market half.
The agent half is why Ledger is in the story. Humans sleep. Agents do not. Prompt injection, host-key leaks, and Sybil swarms are not edge cases once a bot can size a 20x book. Software policy is rewriteable. A Secure Element is not.
The rule I use: agents propose, humans sign, hardware enforces. The device derives a short-lived session key. The user confirms the envelope on-device. Max leverage, max drawdown, expiry. If the health factor is already weak, the device refuses the withdrawal before the transaction ever reaches the chain.
Atoms over code. That is the only root of trust that still holds when the principal is offline.

A prediction market's integrity hinges on its final number.
Currently, there's a weather market on Solana via Jupiter asking for the "highest temperature in Sao Paulo on August 6."
Its resolution rule relies on a single airport weather station, creating a single point of failure.
To enhance this, I developed Onca.
Onca operates on a decentralized mesh, not a single source.
You can request a settlement through its Telegram agent, which consults four independent DePIN nodes off-chain, calculates the median, discards outliers, and maintains a reputation system to exclude repeat offenders.
If an adversarial node submits an extreme value like 999C, it gets ignored.
The trusted reading becomes 23.4C, with three nodes in agreement and one dissenting.
Manipulating a minority won't affect the outcome, and this demo is live on solana devnet.
The readings are secure against manipulation. If you ask it to confirm 999C, it will refuse, as its parameters are hardcoded in Rust, making it immune to argument.
Moreover, it has no wallet, because when I instructed it to send 2 SOL to a chosen address, it declined, stating it lacks the capability to transfer funds. There’s nothing to exploit. The process involves reading, building unsigned transactions, and signing, with the signer being a separate binary that the agent cannot access.
The oracle I use daily is just one component of a self-hosted ZeroClaw agent. This agent can process Solana Pay transactions, verify token integrity, monitor invoices, and sell data over x402. Each function reads the blockchain or requires human approval for actions. None can transfer funds.
Built on @zeroclawlabs, a self-hosted daemon, a Telegram channel, supervised autonomy with mandatory approvals, and a single Tier 1 skill for market readings, using WASM plugins only where necessary.

Ever wondered how your crypto data can stay totally private—even while it’s being used?
There’s a mind-blowing encryption trick that makes this possible.
It’s called Homomorphic Encryption.
Let’s unpack this secret tech.
a conversation with a friend changed the way I look at trading products.
he wasn't talking about leverages or fees.
he asked:
"𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘱𝘱 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 ?"
i didn't have an answer then.
but few days later, while exploring @DipcoinLabs, I caught myself thinking about the question again .
it always starts with a promise.
"build this, and we'll fund you."
so the builder builds. late nights, shipping code, doing the work. and then comes the waiting. the awkward follow-up dms. the endless "we are just waiting on the committee to vote" replies.
or it happens the other way. a funder sends the grant money upfront, full of hope. and then... radio silence. an abandoned repo. a ghost.
trust is a beautiful thing, but it’s a terrible way to scale an ecosystem.
so we built a glass box.
before a single line of code is written, the funder locks the money inside. the builder can look at the chain and see it. it’s not a promise anymore. it’s mathematically real.
but the box only opens for proof.
when a milestone is hit and the independent judges nod, the box unlocks that exact slice of the funding. instantly. no delays. no manual buttons to press.
and if the project is abandoned? the remaining coins flow quietly back to the funder. no chasing. no begging.
just code doing exactly what everyone agreed on.
that's covenant.
funding that moves on proof, not promises.

Got an Alpha. The last time I dropped something like this, my students from @TheNirvanAcad made at least $2M Dollars combined in the first week. (You can fact check this)
500 comments and I drop tomorrow morning.❤️🦅
hey guys it’s me again…..
and guess what?, it’s another edition of “what do you wanna know”
and this time we are having another dope creator on ct, he is many creators role model🙂↔️, he is a community builder, he is a creative creator, and many more things …lol
he is really good at what he is doing… he is no other person than @vikktorrrre …
yeah, so if you have been wanting to ask him anything or you wanna know something you don’t know do well to hop on this space link below🔻:
took time today studying research reports and thesis on @thenarrator’s research firm (@schemacap)
i kept realizing that there is no perfect product, no perfect thesis, and no perfect distribution channel.
what compounds is the loop between them and you have to research deep enough to know where to build, the distribution sharp enough to reach the user who proves you right or wrong, and the iteration honest enough to update when the territory disagrees with your map.
the summary thesis is: research the territory, ship the map and iterate when they disagree.
