🚨 EXCL: Arsenal exploring move to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid. #AFC interest early stage + clubs not yet in talks but idea approved at all levels. Much rests on contract process as no breakthrough yet & #RMFC do not want free exit @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/qYdS5vlfE6
@gunnerpunner@ToonFan14 We're a team in transition with lots of new young players. If he stays and helps settle the team then he's worth more than what you're willing to offer. The foundation he helps set could benefit us far more longer term.
He signed a contract. He kicked off when Isak went on strike. He is far more valuable to Newcastle in every conceivable way than he is to Arsenal at £70m. The selling club determine the asking price for their captain and most important player. A fee, by the way, no intermediary has even got close to asking price during conversations #nufc
@Arsenalcore2 Madrid rarely pay for big money players. If Madrid wanted Rice they'd tap him up, get him to run down his contract and sign him on free (after offering a minor fee when he enters his last 6 months). And you'd be outraged by it you hypocritical mouthpiece.
Need to be clear about this. Bruno wanting to better himself isn't the issue. We all understand that. The issue is how it's being done.
He was made club captain because we believed he respected the club enough to take the role. To now show zero respect is disgusting behaviour.
Bruno’s first contract was due to expire in 2026. He would have been a free agent and able to sign for whoever he wanted.
Instead, he signed an extension until 2029, became our highest earner and captain.
Why should #nufc roll over when it was his choice in the first place?
Lee doesn't turn his comments on very often. But, he has here, and the number of Arsenal fans in the replies crying over a picture of an #nufc player wearing a Newcastle kit is hilarious 😂
✍️ COLUMN TIME: Football's Financial Fair Play rules are supposed to lead to a level playing field, increase competition and encourage financial stability. In fact, they do the opposite, with clubs like #NUFC and #AVFC badly damaged as a result...

Talk of a bid worth £70m being prepared for Bruno Guimaraes. Newcastle will laugh that off.
Arsenal are the Premier League champions - they need to start acting like it. #NUFC
