Russland hat 1,5 Millionen Gefallene und die Ukraine 500.000, behauptete heute wieder einmal ein prominenter Account.

Bereits zu Beginn des Krieges waren die Opferzahlen 10–15 zu 1 zugunsten Russlands gegenüber der Ukraine. So etwas erfuhr man, wenn man damals Vorlesungen von AfD-Politikern zuhörte, die diese Infos aus dem deutschen Verteidigungsausschuss hatten.

Der Grund dafür ist ganz einfach: Russland war von Anfang an der Ukraine 20 zu 1 in der Artilleriestärke überlegen. Wenn also die Ukraine fünf Artilleriegranaten schießen konnte, flogen ihr 100 entgegen. In allen anderen Waffenkategorien war Russland ebenfalls mindestens 10 zu 1 bis zu 15 zu 1 überlegen.

Zusätzlich hatte Russland gigantische Altbestände an Munition aus dem Kalten Krieg, die aufgearbeitet werden konnten, und das gesamte Militär war in den letzten zehn Jahren durch Putin modernisiert worden.

Nach einem anfänglichen Kriegsgewirr von einigen Wochen, bis sich die Frontlinien stabilisiert hatten, gingen die Russen in einen äußerst konservativen Abnutzungskrieg über. Stellungen der Ukrainer wurden mit Artillerie zu Großraumparkplätzen heruntergebombt, bis man das, was übrig war, eroberte.

Seitdem gewinnt Russland durchgehend an allen Fronten kontinuierlich, mit extrem wenigen Ausnahmen.

Und zuletzt ist die medizinische Versorgung der Ukrainer eine Vollkatastrophe, während die russische funktioniert.

Es ist ausgeschlossen, dass es auf russischer Seite mehr Verluste gibt als auf ukrainischer. Es gibt keinen einzigen Grund, aus dem man so etwas schließen könnte. Konservativ geschätzt ist der Unterschied mindestens 4 zu 1 bei ukrainischen Gefallenen und Versehrten zu russischen, vermutlich aber wesentlich mehr.

In einem Artikel vom Februar 2025 hatte ich mit 1,2 Millionen gefallenen Ukrainern gerechnet und das auch mit OSINT-Leuten rückgesprochen, die zu ähnlichen Einschätzungen gelangt waren.

Inzwischen dürften es eher in Richtung 2 Millionen gehen. Die Ukraine hat eine Generation verheizt. Warum sonst fahren seit über zwei Jahren Presspatrouillen durch die Städte der Ukraine, um jeden Mann in einem Alter, in dem er noch aufrecht laufen kann, einzufangen, um ihn an der Front zu verheizen?

Und mit dieser Einschätzung liege ich meiner Meinung nach richtig, denn die Ukraine kämpft seit vier Jahren an einer 1.200 Kilometer langen Frontlinie in einem permanenten Granaten- und Drohnenregen gegen einen Gegner, der ihr in Masse, Klasse, Technologie, Ausrüstung und Fortschritt weit überlegen ist.

Der Krieg war bereits am ersten Tag mit einer 100%igen Garantie verloren. Da er so lukrativ für unsere Regierungen (Kickback) und Selenskyjs Freunde und Familie ist, wird damit enden, dass der Ukraine einfach die Männer ausgehen, denn Frieden will ganz offensichtlich niemand.

Water: Iran Limits the West’s Old Practices

In 2017, during the first Trump administration, the US attacked a major dam in Syria. Shortly afterward, they denied it, claiming the reports were crazy, but subsequent investigations confirmed that the Tabqa Dam was attacked by American forces.

A secret US Special Operations unit called Task Force 9 struck the dam with some of the largest conventional bombs in the American arsenal, including at least one BLU-109 bunker-buster bomb. The clear objective was to create a catastrophe in that region of the country.

But that’s not all. In the First Gulf War, bombings destroyed most of Iraq’s desalination plants and water purification centers.

In Libya, NATO bombed a water pipe factory in Brega, claiming that the site was being used as a military depot by Gaddafi’s regime. The destruction compromised the drinking water supply for millions of civilians.

This time, after the bombing of the Iranian desalination plant on Qeshm Island, Iran responded by striking one in Bahrain.

No one talks about attacking water anymore. Both the Americans and the Gulf countries know that Iran is crazy enough to respond in kind. This is the difference in this war.

Iran seems to be teaching some American military leaders their old practices back by imposing limits, and this irritates a lot of people, while another part of the American population simply doesn’t follow the news closely.

A large part of the American black book doesn’t work in Iran because they are just as crazy as some American military leaders, and the retaliations can be disproportionate.

So capital is leaving, in the way capital always leaves,

through investment decisions made in boardrooms that no journalist covers and no politician is briefed on.

Data centers are being built in Kenya, not Kansas. AI research labs are opening in Bangalore, not Baltimore.

Cloud infrastructure is expanding across Southeast Asia while the bridges in Ohio rust.

The corporate complexes that once transmitted wealth downward through the American economy, however unevenly, are redirecting their operations outward, and what used to trickle down through the most broken wealth distribution system in the developed world is now not trickling at all, because the pipes have been rerouted to serve customers on other continents.

The isolation is not being imposed on America from outside. It is being engineered from within, by the very forces that Americans believe constitute their strength.

Every tariff that was supposed to protect American workers instead teaches the targeted country to build alternatives that permanently reduce American leverage.

Every sanction that was supposed to punish a disobedient state instead accelerates the construction of financial infrastructure designed to route around the dollar.

Every frozen reserve account, every SWIFT exclusion, every weaponization of the financial system sends the same message to every sovereign on earth:

your dollars are not yours, your reserves are conditional, and the system you trusted is a trap with a hair trigger.

The rational response is diversification, and diversification is exactly what is happening,

from Beijing to Riyadh to Brazil to Nairobi,

not out of hatred for America but out of the simple, self-preserving recognition that dependence on a system whose operators will weaponize it without warning is a vulnerability no serious state can afford.

America built the most sophisticated financial architecture in human history.

Credit where credit is due.

But then used it so aggressively,

so frequently,

and so predatorily,

that it taught the entire world to build something else.

The sanctions were the advertisement for CIPS.

The frozen reserves were the business case for gold accumulation.

The weaponized dollar was the best recruiter de-dollarization ever had.

And inside the walls of this increasingly isolated fortress, the population is being prepared not for renewal but for managed decline.

The same institutional culture that treated Muslim communities as a surveillance category for twenty years is now expanding the threat designation to encompass anyone whose organizing capacity might challenge the extraction that is underway.

The toolkit that America exported to the Global South, the structural adjustment, the managed instability, the manufactured dependency, the counterinsurgency dressed as law enforcement,

is coming home, because colonial logic always returns to the imperial center when the periphery is no longer available for extraction.

The Americans who voted for change, from the left and from the right and from the populist center, are arriving at the same destination from different directions.

The left watched its candidates promise transformation and deliver continuity.

The right watched its champion fill his administration with the same Goldman Sachs alumni and defense contractor lobbyists who populated every administration before him.

The MAGA base watched tariffs that were sold as protection for the working-class function instead as negotiating leverage for capital interests embedded in the president's own family financial structure.

All three are converging on a recognition that the electoral system is a selection mechanism for which faction of private power gets to operate the state apparatus for the next cycle.

Most people understand that America's military bases around the world are not protective or defensive, or even particularly functional in terms of security. They have always primarily been for justifying the defence budget.

Countries do not allow them because they actually think America will protect them. They allow them as a concession, because the military industrial complex has always been the American government's pimp. Hosting miltiary bases gives you leverage with the pimp.
