The Higherlander

@gmanfirmness @ElijahForCA Honestly, I genuinely believe he used it in the South Park sense (if you’ve seen the episode).

It’s not a slur against homosexuals. It’s a slur for inconsiderate assholes.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@RizomaSchool I see.

I’d say that results are results however. Propaganda can most certainly come from how said results are presented, AI was not the only tool incorporated as has been noted, but it was a factor, no matter how one feels about it.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@vividvoid There are specifically Catholic AI apps, but the Catholic community feels mixed on them overall. Not sure that makes the AI Christian as you are suggesting, but there are models trained and fed specifically on Church and Christian doctrines in existence.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@SomebodyIsUpset @mzkarmel1 @Polymarket Not quite. They did introduce several other variables including access to study materials, and strong teacher support with multiple evaluations performed along the way.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@SketchesbyBoze I feel that’s more on the nose with things such as short-form content and slop in general, rather than Generative AI slop specifically.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@SketchesbyBoze Unfortunately, any degree of interest in Western Civilization studies is considered by many more Left of Liberal to be considered a red flag for Fascism and Alt-Right alignment.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@vividvoid Thank you for sharing.

This is the kind of stuff I’m curious about as we adopt AI. I’m not against it, but the topic of how friction in our lives is beneficial is something I discuss amongst friends and with others more and more.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@memeslich The mantra for our sessions

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@hiram_fin @EdLatimore That’s a hot topic to touch online, so I won’t go there 😅, but with your general analysis of arguments, you’re spot on and I agree wholeheartedly.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@stoicusok I am curious as to Greek and Roman pagan repentance practices, since the worldview of Christianity was (I’m assuming) not developed yet and I’m not sure if Hellenistic syncretism was happening yet either.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@TalonInTx @TheTweetOfGod Yeah. Zoom in.

To be fair, you could argue it’s not a torso, but still.

Look at you being all nitpicky.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@TalonInTx @TheTweetOfGod If you zoom in, you’ll the head attached to a torso.

I think you’re just being nitpicky because you can.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@Anc_Aesthetics Could’ve saved a billion and just shot some B roll at any Renaissance fair.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@essencealchemy @riotwomennn Perhaps not, but it’s not like we control these unfortunate happenings beyond hoping who we vote for don’t cripple the services or those working in said services fail at their jobs.

However, we do have control how we relate such events to literature and our understanding of it.

[Bongo McDuffin @Bongo_McDuff]

@Algorirthm @riotwomennn I’m not commenting on that. I’m commenting on the book that is being used in her Tweet.

If you have anything to add there, rather than being snarky, then that’s cool.

Otherwise, heed your own advice.
