Join the Discussion: Drowning in Uganda’s Lakeside Districts — Is it Reducing or Increasing?
@Makerere University School of Public Health, through the Centre for Trauma, Injury and Disability Prevention (@TRIADUnit), invites you to a research dissemination dialogue on drowning in Uganda’s lakeside districts.
The discussion will examine emerging evidence on whether drowning cases are reducing or increasing, the drivers behind these trends, and what this means for prevention, policy, and community safety in Uganda’s high-risk water environments.
The session is relevant for researchers, public health practitioners, policymakers, development partners, students, district leaders, and all stakeholders interested in injury prevention and water safety.

@BusingeOtto@CanalBoxUG I called them and they informed me that I needed to renew my subscription and then the compensation would come with the new subscription. Apparently it would take 2 days for the days to be compensated yet it took a few seconds to switch us off. I'm considering my options
@PoliceUg So uganda police, when the family waited until 11pm and the boy did not return did they stop waiting? Here by 'waiting' do you mean the family leaving the door open and at 11pm they closed it? Also, are the boda boda riders in Gulu so different that they see an unconscious ....

Good Morning @ProteaKampalaH.
This is to inform you that the pedestrian walkway on Upper Kololo terrace road is not a parking lot for your customers.
@KCCAUG constructs the pedestrian walkways for the safety of pedestrians and not as a parking lot.
Thank you.

As we commemorate #emergencymedicineday , we urge all stakeholders to prioritize strengthening Uganda's emergency care system. Injury related deaths and hospitalisations are rising. Let's emphasize prevention and quality care. #injuryprevention#emergencycare
You should also talk about Airtel trying to pattern with ug police to defraud us because how can my SIM card malfunction and after taking it to their service center they tell me to first get the police letter for swap when actually I am presenting to them the malfunctioning card😭
@alninja12@YkeeBenda Ask and it shall be given

2de a certain grandfather has pulled artillery to fight 'his grandchildren' 4 calling out theft. Grandparents are known for overly loving their bazukulu. Now I guess we all can remember who our grand parents are as we throw around the Jajja title.

@CentenaryBank you seem to still be a rural development bank. How can someone spend more 4 hours opening an account? I hope it's not the case in all branches. This Wakiso branch is very mediocre. A Ugandan suffers to make money and then suffers to keep it. #mediocrity
@iKabalega We also have MPs for grand parents (the elderly). Has any of them ever Said anything on the floor of Parliament? Are they active on committees or they are enjoying retirement!
