@Elpeocross@Space_Romancer Being anti-sex is good if you're against it before marriage.
Pretty babes are fine; it's a problem when they'd be inappropriate for 50s-early 60s television
@JacobAllen223@donotdelay I've watched it. I don't get the hype; I simply outgrew its target demographic (yes, this includes the ever-so-popular early seasons everyone revers).
This cartoon is about as funny as Sponge Bob:

@eitakuguro@11thDayEmperor@donotdelay On one hand, I can see why that would harm them, but on the other, I don't think understanding a reference to something ultimately mediocre at best isn't a dealbreaker
@verymidengineer@girlavenir@donotdelay There's nothing that "smart" in being merely passable and unmemorable like whatever Hanna-Barbera was churning out for syndication after Peter Potamus wrapped up thoughie
@jackm7195@halfdope@donotdelay If the household banned it for simply not being funny and he was exposed to superior comedic entertainment, he'd turn out alright. But I'm in the minority here; everyone loves the juvenile weak jokes and uninspired comedy of the dang thing!
@a___pers0n@donotdelay You're probably better off not watching it; it's too juvenile for most outside of its intended target demographic. At least, that's what I think of its "humor"
@Nonexi_Stent@donotdelay You're not really missing anything. It's a *fine* cartoon, it just wouldn't appeal to people who've matured and have superior comedic taste.
Its humor is a more juvenile version of whatever Hanna-Barbera was making for syndication in the later half of the 1960s; it's overrated
