Meanwhile, he was a partner at a prestigious Houston law firm. He knew exactly how catastrophic those allegations could become once fed into the family court machine, and he kept feeding them into it until the mother of his child was stripped of virtually all her maternal rights.
So spare me the posthumous rewrite where he becomes some innocent man “following the court system”, blindsided by an inexplicable tragedy. He had vastly more power, money, institutional fluency, and credibility than she did, and he used every ounce of it against her. Fuck him.
