@comp_e_psych@YYCCowboy They will fix this… doctors who choose to work in private settings for more money will get stipends on top of it for taking these patients others won’t … so if you don’t have a family dr. You’ll be forced to the private sector and those clinics will charge AHS an extra fee.
@Peskyniece@TheBlueGem3 Unfortunately, the notwithstanding clause use, means, wven if the Supreme Court rules against it, they can’t force it to be repealed.
Even if they acknowledge it’s a violation, they can’t force it to be struck down.
@angusdw@ArashMadani Shapiro and Atkins will get renewed after this year… WS or not. Then they will tank us for another 3-4 and make us look good ahead of their renewal again…
@tblev_20@bnicholsonsmith But the Yankee's didn't show up to work today, they stayed home, which, would go with their lack of professionalism in playing like a triple A team over the weekend I guess.
Dale Nally is heading to Vegas on the taxpayers dime!
And it looks like for almost half the trip, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

@TheBreakdownAB logically, he could travel on his own dime to LV, take his personal days, then start official business. He's not doing anything for the province on the first three days, wonder what the AG would say about this?
@moneymosh12@GoodForBaseball@BlueJays@Sportsnet If you knew how many posts I report in a week, for actually breaking the rules of x, that still exist. I’m not worried too much about the jays account
@hockeyguy199@STARSambulance As a fire responder, I understand there could be an outside shot, especially after incidents in the states, that a tweet in near real time could risk responders safety etc. However, as a journalist I hope the transparency comes back soon in a way that keeps everyone safe.
@DanLyrette@FoodProfessor I’m not pro or against leaving, but the astronomical cost of the logistics behind it would put Alberta in debt for decades to come.
Our portion of the national debt; CPP etc. not to mention police, military and negotiating with the indigenous, it’s more complicated then it seems
@GetOutsideAdv@JasonLavigneAB My question, were you alive when Quebec was less than 1% of the population from doing exactly this?
Just the threat of Alberta leaving ( and with it the money ) could force eastern Canada to negotiate thing our province needs to survive… cross the separation bridge after that.
@mckdeb4@FoodProfessor You would have the ability... in 5 years ish after millions if not billions in spending to build the factories to do it. Since the late 90's you've imported plenty from Canada, same as oil, you then process it and sell it back to us at a mark-up, our resources = your products
@RCMPAlberta and @vermilionriver emergency services are on route to a collision near Alcurve north or @cityoflloyd please avoid the area.
