@soron47 The key difference is that pyrolysis, even at low temps, breaks hydrocarbons indiscriminately and plascreds product will need further treatment, significantly cutting into their margins.
@DrManuelKoch1@Amateur_Inv@ClassicValueInv Aduro won’t compete for the 10% valuable plastic that is conventionally recyclable. They plan to recycle plastic that is effectively worthless. Naphtha is approx $700/t. Margins of 50% as management have said would mean process cost is $350/t. None of that requires recycling regs
This video made by $ADUR a couple of years ago is a great introduction to their process, highlighting the flexibility, modularity and scalability.
Everything that they were claiming 2 years ago is being delivered piece by piece.

@Amateur_Inv That paraffinic crude one is the icing on the cake. The route to commercialisation for that vertical should be rapid with a simple design that can be easily rolled out. You don’t hire Scott Smith so he can sit around for 3 years.
We have signed an MOU with Ortessa Groep BV to evaluate a feedstock logistics center supporting our FOAK project at Chemelot Industrial Park in the Netherlands. 👉 https://t.co/ZV2HTGaSNf

@Amateur_Inv@82Brano64722 Further thoughts: the serious risk of acquisition is the next 2 years or so, depending on Aduro’s valuation. If successful execution is not matched by the market a big player may want the tech. Once licensing agreements start rolling in it may become too expensive to make sense.
@Amateur_Inv@82Brano64722 I you’re having fun but I just don’t see this being a get rich quick game. Maybe pre covid when they were close to getting bought. But now, why be so rigorous and meticulous with commercialisation just to sell before it’s happened?
@82Brano64722@Amateur_Inv The thing you’ve got to consider is why would Ofer want to sell the company at $2b if the tech really is as revolutionary as he claims?
He makes a few hundred million, which is fantastic, but everything I’ve seen is that these have a vision that they want to see realised.
Insiders are planning to participate in $ADUR $ACT.NE financing per yesterday's PR. Reminder, insiders prior to this raise own c. 34%
This is super bullish: https://t.co/DjMP2sXTs7
@dmeinvestor $14.74 👊 I think any further weakness will be off the back of the broader market. Well executed raise timed to benefit from the pump from the fantastic data release.
@SLMacro@Mike_Taylor1972@WBPetersen@Dami_Alfinity All of your questions are easily answered by a quick google search. You aren't interested in the answer.

Well thought out bear cases are very welcome.
@Molbiam@dmeinvestor EPC partnership and licensing package will detail this. Hints towards cost-effectiveness includes off-take LOI, modular design (easier scaling), industry standard equipment (low maintenance costs and easier scaling)and low working temps.
@SLMacro@Mike_Taylor1972@WBPetersen@Dami_Alfinity They are 'literally' a recycling company where regulatory bodies consider them a plastic recycling company. The New Jersey cope is some of the funniest I've seen from you lot.
