With my partners of @class_lambda we spent the last few hours talking with Eduardo Elsztain and his son Ben about @ethereum and about the type of financial infrastructure that Argentina and Latin America need. Eduardo has always believed in real and tangible value. He trusts gold, land, buildings, and cattle. I told him that this is exactly what I speak about every day. The only difference is that I also see Bitcoin and Ethereum as part of the same family of hard and scarce assets that protect savings and allow people to build long term wealth. They are digital expressions of the same idea, assets that cannot be diluted or destroyed by political cycles.
Eduardo is very interested in Ethereum. He understands the importance of verifiable systems and the role that digital hard assets will play in global finance. He is the chairman of IRSA, the largest real estate company in Argentina, listed on the NYSE. He is the chairman of Cresud, an important agricultural group that operates in Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay and is listed on the NASDAQ. He is also the chairman of BrasilAgro, listed on the NYSE, and Banco Hipotecario, one of the biggest public and private mortgage bank of Argentina, where he is the largest private shareholder. Moreover, he is the chairman and a shareholder of Austral Gold, an Australian mining company that operates metal mines across South America.
His son Ben adds another essential dimension. Ben is a successful software entrepreneur who knows how to build real products, scale technology, and convert ideas into systems that people actually use.
@rbenzaquen, the CEO of @BoulderLam, also played a key role in the conversation. Rodrigo has deep experience in the traditional financial world and in the crypto world. He understands how institutions operate and how modern software infrastructure works.
I am proud to work with people like Eduardo, Ben, and Rodrigo. They are experienced serial entrepreneurs who know more than I do in many areas, and they will be central in turning blockchains and zero knowledge proofs into real world usage at scale. This is the type of team that can build the next financial architecture of the region. It's part of the team that can help make Ethereum adoption grow in the region.
During the last months we partnered with their group via @rbenzaquen's company. Together we are building payment infrastructure and tokenization infrastructure on top of Ethereum so companies can move value, raise capital via @loom_finance, manage identity, and operate across borders with real time settlement and complete transparency. And this is only the beginning. We are joining forces to create products across every important vertical that needs reliable and modern infrastructure. Everything we build for their ecosystem is designed so other companies of LATAM can adopt it as well.
Argentina needs both things: the solidity of real and productive assets, and the global reach of digital assets that can move anywhere in the world with a single message.
The future of finance in Argentina and Latin America will be built by combining these two forces on top of Ethereum.
.@_BoulderTech and @class_lambda unveiled @BoulderLam to bring scalable, compliant blockchain infrastructure to LATAM.
Led by CEO @rbenzaquen, the project combines institutional expertise from BoulderTech, part of the IRSA Group, with deep technical capabilities from LambdaClass in cryptography, @Ethereum, and distributed systems.

Gov3summit made something clear: Latin America isn’t discussing digital public infrastructure, we’re deploying it. Digital identity, interoperability and open standards are becoming real systems. Proud that @sovra_io, @lambdaclass and @boulderlam are contributing to make this shift possible.
