Oscar Piastri won 3 consecutive races this season.
The last time an Australian driver achieved 3 consecutive race wins was Alan Jones in 1979.
The following season, Alan Jones won the F1 World Championship.
90 days and counting until Melbourne #F1
@F1Clapped Should, given their history.
But thereโs no guarantee that they will, and every race that Mercedes win just makes that the more tempting proposition.
Red Bull took 7 years to catch up the last engine reg change (2014-21)
@12Shakur@rayontrack lol youโve been drinking too much koolaid
Max is still the fastest then itโs tight between Leclerc/Norris/Piastri/Antonelli
Dunno whatโs happened to George, but he says the new car doesnโt suit the way he drives.
@12Shakur How do you figure that?
Oscar had a more impressive rookie season after 12 months twiddling his thumbs.
And had this start to 2025 before McLaren totally changed the car in favour of Norris.
What Antonelli is doing this year is exactly what Oscar wouldโve been doing last year, if fat boy Brown didnโt completely change the car to favour Norris.
Makes me angry all over again.
@_kojo___ lol no, the onboard is much better evidence than this fuck ass angle.
Go and do some physics lessons to see how angles work and how this angle is not fit for purpose and deceptive as fuck.
@12Shakur He told his dad on his death bed that he had signed for Ferrari when he actually hadnโt.
It was their dream to win a championship with Ferrari.
@_kojo___ The onboard is far more accurate than a photo taken from a weird shit angle, the ideal angle is directly opposite the T1 apex looking towards the pit exit.
On the onboard you can see Kimiโs wheels are ahead of Georgeโs perpendicular to the apex.
@1ellisd147341@rosiierix It was more than just a front suspension tweak, it was also rear suspension along with other things.
And if you think parts donโt improve performance, youโre watching the wrong sport.
McLaren developed the car towards Norris after Oscar was flying.
