@natsabin So sorry. My 1st was also a miscarriage. I was 42 and the physician encouraged me to consider assisted reproduction. I couldn't. I grieved for my lost child and feared I would never conceive. Then a miracle happened and we had a healthy baby boy at age 43. Be strong & hope.

@hoperugo If one values “mechanism-based” therapies, then it is illogical to not verify the efficacy of the ovarian suppression. B4 new insulins, as an intern, all pts started 20 u NPH. Then adjusted w regular, etc. Not checking E2 analogous to not cking glucose.

@matteolambe @SABCSSanAntonio @OncoAlert Hi risk and short duration. Tam was also not shown to be effective when given <5 y: 1 yr & 2 yr ineffective in pre-menopausal patients who are at higher risk. Benefit only in 5 yr duration. TY for sludes.

@DGlaucomflecken Omg—I was in a pt holding area when I overheard the anesthesia resident ask the adjacent elderly pt, also awaiting colonoscopy, if she took any blood thinners. 3X times she said no. Then he asked about a biopsy; she said she could not have one because she was taking Coumadin.
