I testified at today's @HouseCommerce hearing on AI.
The CCP has an AI master plan that’s working.
I told Congress that America must do the following to win on AI: Dominate, Unleash, Innovate, Promote.

In 2015, Apple tried to CRUSH Spotify.
• Threatened to remove them from App Store
• Demanded 30% of all revenue
• Blocked their app updates
But Spotify's response was genius.
Here's how a Swedish startup outsmarted the world's biggest company 🧵
18/ I want you to watch this film for a better perspective of the PEV: https://t.co/CF4MgKJkxx
We were the children that suffered through these horrors, we have to be the adults that demand for justice! We cannot afford to let it happen to our children please.
1/ 🧵 My personal experience during the (PEV).
I was 16 years old. It was just before New Year’s Day, and we lived in an apartment in Kona, Langas, Eldoret. What started as tense whispers of political uncertainty became the darkest, period of my life.
Here’s my story👇
This week I had an opportunity to engage with #EACYouthFellows24@MSTCDC
My presentation focused on AfCFTA and its connection with RECs including EAC.
We had a common ground that politics works hand in hand with business.

The saddest photos ever taken:
A thread 🧵
1. This photo, taken in 1993, shows a starving child being stalked by a vulture in Sudan. Kevin Carter, who won a Pulitzer Prize in 1994 for this infamous picture, died by suicide the same year at the age of 33. In his suicide note, he wrote, "I am haunted by the vivid memories... of starving or wounded children..."
As Kenya takes over the role of the chair of the African Group of Negotiators (AGN), I extend my thanks to all our partners who have continuously supported Africa’s renewed development agenda articulated in the Nairobi Declaration, a shift from victim to climate leadership. Our goal is to drive economic transformation in harmony with our climatic realities.
A lot of work lies ahead as we prepare for #COP29 in Baku. I am fully committed to working collaboratively and inclusively to shape Africa’s negotiation stances using African-led data, insights, and ideas to ensure robust representation and participation of Africa at COP29.
Our approach must recognize Africa’s vast potential: a growing workforce, ample land and natural resources, and immense opportunities for renewable energy generation to achieve energy security and green industrialization. This unique combination positions us to accelerate global decarbonization and lead the race to net zero and beyond.
Each of us has a critical role to play! Achieving climate-positive growth demands an integrated approach. Let’s collaborate, learn from each other, and get to work.
Get in touch to discuss how we can advance Africa’s climate leadership.
