@historyinmemes Interesting…The Victoria Bridge is longer (3km or 1.9 mi) and was completed almost 80 years earlier (1860), and it too was constructed entirely over water.
2. It has allowed me to work with some of the greatest people I have ever met; and these families are some of the best. I have so many found memories that will stay with me forever, and helped prepare me to be a father for our own family.
1. Such a great event attending the EESS grad last night. So proud to see so many former students and it felt good to see students walk across the stage and graduate once again.
Being a teacher has given me some of the richest joys this world has to offer…
Agreed!! Feel blessed being a part of that team. It definitely made a huge impact on my perspective of teaching, and it enabled us to do things together we could have never achieved alone!
@maritstiles There needs to be more transparency in funding. 90/10 rule. 90% of the funding to staff working directly with students. There’s a problem when those tasked with working with the most vulnerable make 20-30K, while those 20 years removed from the class make 200-300k.
I don’t consider myself a runner (haven’t run since HS), but down here how can you not? First two weeks I’ve hit my goal of 5km in sub 30. Gonna be in the 🇧🇸 for a while, time to set another goal, but first 🏖!
@JES4V4RD@TVDSB@PrinceCharlesPS@rferrara10 @RAndrewCanham Good choice!! Read it to my class this year as well, and they loved it. Such a great message. “Broken crayons still colour”
Proud husband moment!! I’m so excited to see the official opening of their new clinic! Nuala and her team have worked so hard to build this state of the art medical facility to serve the Strathroy community!
“With the official opening of the West Middlesex Health Centre in Strathroy, The Department of Family Medicine at @WesternU is living our Vision: Leaders in Family Medicine, Advancing Healthier Communities.”
