Lots of egregious ref stuff in this series but Wemby being able to set screens with two extended arms in every single game for the whole playoffs has been a bit befuddling to me
Last night, Karl-Anthony Towns recorded his 18th consecutive game with a positive plus-minus. It is the longest such streak in the postseason since the @NBA began tracking play-by-play data in 1997.
During his draft workout, Anthony Edwards ran a baseline-to-opposite free throw line sprint in 2.75 seconds — breaking the known NBA record (2.87), per @JonKrawczynski.
The Wolves didn't believe the stopwatch, so they made him do it twice more. He clocked 2.75 and 2.80 after a grueling 50-minute workout.

For those who just wanted the exact KG trees jerseys brought back for good, that is against NBA rules. Teams honor the past with the throwback editions on anniversaries but can’t completely bring them back for good. Always a focus on new
NEW @YahooSports:
The biggest reason the Knicks are up 2-0:
Karl-Anthony Towns is outperforming Victor Wembanyama.
Ahead of Game 3, I went inside the incredible numbers: https://t.co/jzLZw7fPfY
A commenter called playoff Karl-Anthony Towns “Jokic with better defense” which seemed blasphemous to me but:
1) Wemby and Towns are lapping the field these playoffs
2) Towns’ playoff EPM would be Jokic’s playoff career high 👀
Remember when KAT totally held up against Durant? Remember when he was the best on-ball defender Jokic faced in the playoffs? Remember high wall?
This defense isn’t out of nowhere. You just haven’t been paying attention.
Through two finals games, KAT is averaging 30.8 points per 100 halfcourt matchups when guarded by Wemby and allowing 23.6 points per 100 halfcourt matchups when guarding Wemby
“KAT wasn’t doing this in Minny”
We must’ve watched a different 2024 game 7 vs Denver cause I vividly remember him being the ONLY guy doing something for a lot of that game
