There's no good civic argument for the electoral college. It was arguably necessary to ensure the ratification of the Constitution, but it's an anti-democratic device that gives some American citizens far more voting power than others, based purely on where they live.
@ShawnRyan762 One could make an argument that both Roberts and Tillman were intentionally killed by our government. We shouldn't have been in Iraq or Afghanistan and we should not have started a war with Iraq. We are doing the dirty work for Israel.
A lot of talk in the recent past about Slab’, Chapman, and what happened on top of Takur Ghar.
A lot of Miltwitter isn’t going to like what Pete has to say, but the truth isn’t always pretty, we don’t always like it, but in the end, we must seek it.
"They knocked the hell out of that helicopter, but while that was happening, Neil Roberts fell off the back. The enemy is surrounding Roberts right now...Eight kilometers to the east is where Pat Tillman and his platoon are searching for weapons caches—she told me it’s been 13 years and she still doesn’t know whether her son was killed on purpose or if it was an accident."
As Prime Minister, all American Troops would be expelled from our country and Military Bases.
The UK would not be complicit in illegal forever wars, which put our troops and citizens at risk.
If this damages the US/UK relationship then so be it, our country comes first.
