I figured out how 26 year old bros that dgaf transition to pissed off middle aged men. Having a family does it. Before that, I kinda didn’t give af about anything. But with a fam - the pressure to crush it at everything is daunting. I can see how it wears on ppl
@kenwheeler High school bro fights (football vs soccer) and shit like that were great. Just get it all out, then drink some beer around a fire together, nobody got shot or stabbed
@BearcatMTA@NiceQuarterGuys They were at the helm and voted people in that supported policies that absolutely gutted the middle class. Individually, sure… some great people. Collectively, I disagree with them “just existed” and have no agency over what happened to the country while they were in charge
Growing up, legitimately as early as I can remember, my parents just told me I was the best. At everything. They made me work my ass off, nvr pressured me, just said I could do it and be the best. I’ve never once had imposter syndrome or didn’t believe in myself, right or not
@_HonestInvestor Because I’m a millennial with a house that has two playrooms, 5 beds, 4.5 baths. It’s a house for a young family. That’s how we set it up. 5 beds seems overkill for empty nesters
@NiceQuarterGuys Yeah man… they killed the American dream. Im bummed out about Gen Z sentiment. But I honestly don’t blame them. I’m a millennial if wasn’t already obvious
