@V_arrell@AlmorTech 296 is fire. Can't see too many aspiring Ferrari owners buying the 'buy our overpriced EV first' pitch but maybe I'm wrong.
Electric is the antitheses to what the Ferrari brand stands for: passion.
@V_arrell@AlmorTech Sure but that was always the case AV. Hell there's a $300k 'entry-level' 296 they'll sell you.
Making a $600k Roomba and telling everyone that's the new entry level ain't gonna work. Porsche made a good-looking EV and that almost killed them. This ain't good business.
@fatehsmann Perhaps in short term states could eventually form bilateral interstate agreements i.e. GMP states do biz with other GMP states. But long-term nation-wide interstate will require MASSIVE regulatory overhaul that hasn't happened.
@fatehsmann Likely would need to be some sort of federal framework for either logistics or manufacturing standards before interstate becomes reality. Theoretically it has teeth, operationally a fragmented state regulatory framework makes it nigh impossible.
@V_arrell@MitchellOsak Iran's army was designed to be inward looking with the intention of snuffing out dissent vs. the Islamic Republic regime - it was always going to have a field day with US bases there.
What it wasn't designed to do is survive these external attacks from the US. Which it won't.
@pipelineclub100 I can't imagine what insurance for a fleet of robo taxis will be. Especially when they inevitably kill a passenger.
The depreciation of 30+ Teslas also gives me some pause about whether or not this is a slam dunk.
