ICYMI: @GregAbbott_TX says @bofrench would “wreck” Texas oil and gas if elected to the Railroad Commission.
Abbott on Tuesday slammed GOP Railroad Commission candidate Bo French, saying he “doesn’t know anything about oil and gas.” He cast the race for the often-overlooked statewide office as existential for the state economy, especially amid soaring gas prices during the ongoing war with Iran. The commission oversees the oil and gas industry.
“Bo French’s agenda would wreck the miracle that we have in producing more oil and gas than ever before — by the way, more oil and gas than what Iran produces,” Abbott said.
At a campaign stop, Abbott told a crowd of Republicans, “We need @JimWright4Texas to be reelected to continue to lead that way.”
I am proud to endorse @JimWright4Texas for reelection to the Texas Railroad Commission.
Commissioner Wright has helped keep Texas at the forefront of American energy. His leadership has strengthened the industry that powers our economy—supporting well-paying jobs, advancing our nation’s energy independence, and ensuring Texas stays the best state in America to do business.
Jim Wright has delivered for Texas, and he’s the conservative voice of experience and integrity we need on the RRC.
Today, I issued interim charges for House committees of the 89th Texas Legislature to guide our work ahead of the next legislative session in 2027. These priorities build on our recent progress, strengthen accountability in government, reduce inefficiencies, and ensure key initiatives are carried out as intended—while laying the foundation for a strong 90th Legislative Session.
Thank you to our committee chairs and all who contributed their insight throughout this process. Together, we will continue advancing the freedom and opportunity that drives Texas. #txlege
@Monkeybutt069@Burrows4TX You betrayed the Republican Party when you bought the lies and started hunting ways to
make yourself miserable. On a serious note- you have yet to name 1 dem priority bill that passed the 89th.
@ClassicXT@Burrows4TX Lol We all know I don’t drink and anyone reading my posts is aware that I point out those folks claiming to be Rs yet spewing dem benefiting lies and misinformation. Now, back to your question- name one dem priority bill that passed in the 89th. I’m still waiting.
@Monkeybutt069@Burrows4TX According to @abrahamgeorge 43 R priorities were passed. And then there were the bills that were Conservative but not specifically an R priority. Nearly a 7x multiplier more R priorities than in any other session since we gained the majority. But you won’t accept the truth.
@Monkeybutt069@Burrows4TX Ol Monkey Butt is passing wind, spewing nasty smelling noise but still can’t come up with 1 dem priority bill that passed the 89th…
