Media students from the Jahangirnagar University Journalists’ Association (JUJA), Dhaka visited CDJMC. Faculty member Prasun Sangroula briefed the team on Nepal’s media landscape, while HOD Dr Kundan Aryal welcomed the delegation and highlighted the value of academic exchange.

CDJMC today welcomed celebrities Pradeep Khadka, Buddhi Tamang, Kabita Nepali, Deependra Gauchan, KP Pathak and others during the ongoing 2025 Himalayan Rim Film Exhibition.
On the occasion, HOD Dr Kundan Aryal shared the department’s plan to introduce film studies in future.
The CDJMC expresses its sincere gratitude to Prof. Lal Deusa Rai for his generous contribution to our library. We hope to operationalize the Media Studies Library at the Department soon so that students and scholars can make full use of its rich collection.
Minister for Communication & IT Jagdish Kharel, an alumnus of CDJMC, visited the Camera Building on Thursday and expressed a deep sense of belonging, remarking that the visit felt like “coming home.”
