The numbers speak for themselves, we need political will and public investment now... Just like the 90's
---
Les chiffres parlent d'eux-mêmes : nous avons besoin de volonté politique et d'investissements publics dès maintenant... Tout comme dans les années 90.

Thought provoking words live on CBC "Up North" with executive director, Ken Miller.
"I think of the people involved in this movement; I think of the people who are no longer here because they have been taken too soon from this preventable issue.
“Action in the face of inaction.” Canada needs to do more to fight rising HIV infections.
We can start with increased funding and removing legislation and barriers that prevent comprehensive sexual health education in schools.
Health is a human right. #cdnpoli
“So, let me be perfectly clear: I am not here to celebrate accomplishments. I am not here to praise policy makers or people’s resilience. I am here to demand action in the face of inaction.”
“With HIV rates rising year after year and AIDS Service Organizations shutting down across the country due to lack of funding, it is clear we are facing a crisis,” Miller stated.
Did you know five people are infected with HIV every day? On #WorldAIDSDay we're reminding Canadians of the UNAIDS goal of zero new HIV acquisition, zero AIDS deaths, and zero stigma and discrimination by 2030.
Together, we can work towards an AIDS free future for all.
Today marks #WorldAIDSDay. I was proud to wear a red ribbon in Parliament this week in honour of those we’ve lost to AIDS & those living with HIV. Together we can stop the stigma and end this epidemic.
The red ribbon is the international symbol of HIV & AIDS awareness. Proud to meet with Ken Miller, Executive Director of @CDNAIDS, to pick up my ribbon to raise awareness for this disease & to reaffirm our government’s commitment to improving treatment & prevention.
Merci, Monsieur le Ministre Holland, pour vos paroles encourageantes.
Merci de prendre le temps d’écouter les enjeux actuels.
Merci d’avoir lu les deux propositions sur votre bureau, en attente d’approbation.
Thank you, Minister Holland, for your supportive words.
Thank you for your time, hearing out current issues.
Thank you for reading the two proposals on your desk, awaiting approval.
On #WorldAIDSDay2024 and Indigenous AIDS Awareness Week, let’s continue to challenge the stigma and support those living with HIV.
Together, we can build a healthier future for everyone.
Today, on World AIDS Day, Green Party of Canada leader @ElizabethMay joins advocates and allies to honour those affected by HIV/AIDS. We remember the lives lost and renew our commitment to ending stigma, supporting those living with HIV/AIDS, and advancing healthcare for all.
1/2 À l’occasion de la #JournéeMondialeDuSIDA, je porte un ruban rouge pour montrer ma solidarité et mon engagement dans la lutte contre le VIH/sida et aux préjugés qui l’entourent.
On #WorldAIDSDay, the Rogers Centre Ottawa is proudly lighting up in red to support the @CDNAIDS and to raise awareness of Canada’s commitment to achieving the UNAIDS goals of zero new HIV infections and zero AIDS-related deaths by 2030.
For #WorldAIDSDay, I’m wearing a red ribbon to show solidarity and commitment to ending HIV/AIDS and the stigma around it. Today, we honour those we’ve lost, and stand up for the rights and dignity of all, in Canada and around the world. 🌎🌍🌏
