This week was my first time in Morocco, and it won't be my last! Had great meetings with government leaders and partners in Rabat alongside @FranKatsoudas and loved spending a little time with our small but mighty Morocco team - thank you for the warm welcome!
Honored to witness the signing of our partnership agreement on national AI initiatives and skills training with Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in @Cisco’s commitment to Egypt’s digital future, and we are proud to be a part of it!
Congrats to @JensenHuang, @ClementDelangue, and the entire @HuggingFace team! This is great progress for open source AI and will help make intelligence more secure, affordable, and accessible.
I also believe it’s strategic for America to have a strong open source ecosystem. We can’t win by only having the best closed models — we must also ensure the world's best open models, tools, and ecosystems continue to thrive here.
Exciting day for NVIDIA and @huggingface.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty. They allow every developer, startup, university, industry and country to build with, customize and benefit from AI.
Thank you @ClementDelangue for coming to me.
NVIDIA is going to be a great home for Hugging Face, its community and the future of open models. 🤗

I have some really fun news. I’m delighted to announce that @sunilpotti is joining @Cisco and will lead our Security, Observability and Data Platform teams, bringing our Security and Splunk businesses together under one leader. Sunil will join my leadership team and report directly to me. He has spent years building and scaling some of the most important security platforms in the industry, most recently leading Google Cloud Security. There are very few people who combine deep technical instincts, product leadership and the ability to operate at enormous scale the way Sunil does. I could not be more excited to have him here, and I think it says something about the opportunity in front of Cisco that exceptional builders like Sunil want to come help us create what is next.
The timing could not be better. We are squarely entering the agentic era, where AI agents will increasingly act autonomously across applications, infrastructure and data. This creates an entirely new set of problems. When something goes wrong, was it a breach, an infrastructure issue, a software failure, or did a perfectly legitimate agent simply exercise spectacularly bad judgment? Those distinctions are going to become much harder to make. Security tells us whether something might be malicious. Observability tells us what actually happened. Data gives us the context to understand why. I believe these three areas are going to become increasingly inseparable, which is a big reason why bringing these teams together now makes so much sense.
This is also where I think Cisco has a very unique opportunity. In this new world, we have to operate with the assumption that the adversary may already be inside the environment, and increasingly that adversary could itself be an agent. The job is no longer just keeping threats out. It is detecting them, understanding what they are doing and preventing lateral movement once they are inside. And where does lateral movement happen? On the network! Few companies in the world have the depth of network telemetry and context that Cisco has. When we combine that telemetry with security, observability and data, and co-design it with the rest of our stack across silicon, networking and compute, we can build something fundamentally different. That is the vertically integrated platform we are building for the AI era. There is a tremendous amount of innovation already in the pipeline, and I think we are only beginning to scratch the surface of what is possible. I am super stoked to work with Sunil and the entire team to go build it.
Welcome to Cisco, Sunil. Let’s make the world safe, secure, observable and open!
@HUMAIN@AMD@Cisco Big milestone for the @Humain team and for the Kingdom. Congratulations @TareqAmin_, and thank you for the partnership. On to the next phase!
Couldn't have said it better myself, @LisaSu. It was great to feel the energy yesterday at @LeapAndInnovate and to see the incredible progress from our partners at @Humain. @Cisco is proud of our partnership with @AMD and @Humain on the launch of our first cluster this week!
Honored to join @aalswaha and @TareqAmin_ at @LEAPandInnovate. Congratulations to @humain on the tremendous progress over the last year. Excited to announce our first clusters with @humain and @cisco are live in the Kingdom with lots more to come.
@johnternus Congrats and welcome, @johnternus! @Cisco is incredibly proud of our partnership with Apple, and we’re looking forward to continuing to work with you and your team.
Last day at 1 Market with some of the best people in the business
Almost 10 years to the date at CNBC in SF.
More on the next chapter coming very soon :)
I've said for years that we can create a stronger cybersecurity ecosystem by working together, and it's more important now than ever before. We all have a role to play in helping customers reap the benefits of AI, while protecting them against advanced threats. Proud that @Cisco has joined this effort. Thank you to @gdb and @OpenAI.

What a week, what a team, and what a #CiscoGSX! It was a privilege to join @Tuszik and our global sales team for our annual kickoff in Las Vegas. It's clear we have everything we need to lead in the AI era: our innovation, full-stack portfolio, partners, and, of course, world-class sales team.
FY26 was a historic year for Cisco, and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead in FY27. We’re confident, but not comfortable!

@JPatel41 just told our team at Cisco GSX to be ‘unreasonable.’ That’s how we push boundaries and achieve what’s next. Pretty sure @ZBrownCEO wrote that playbook!
@azeem Still early. Cloud never fully diffused either, and it still remade the industry. In the McKinsey data, fully scaled agents top out at 2%, and the companies spending the money think they can't afford not to. Did the dot-com era bust, or did the winners emerge? Same question here.
