Pune traffic police are introducing new rules to prevent unnecessary vehicle stops and make traffic fines more transparent. Under the new system, each authorized officer will be assigned one e-challan machine and will be allowed to issue fines for only 11 specified traffic violations.
The first phase will begin with 100 machines on a trial basis. Under the new guidelines, officers cannot stop drivers without a valid reason to check their licences or vehicle documents. Only violations observed on the spot and included in the approved list can be recorded.
Additional Commissioner of Police Manoj Patil has issued the orders. Inspectors will also be responsible for taking action in serious traffic violation cases.
The move aims to reduce arbitrary fines and ensure greater accountability in traffic enforcement.

We also bought another change at the same time; We are perhaps the only army in the world that taxes its soldiers’ hardship allowances.
hardship allowances, which were previously exempt from tax, are now being taxed, while MPs’ constituency travel allowances remain tax-exempt.

Subject: Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 28 states of India
Dear Sir,
As we know, for the past few years, the residents of Arunachal Pradesh have been crying out, requesting, and demanding action against Chinese intrusions into Indian territory. If you and your Parliament have no knowledge that Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 28 states of India and a part of Indian territory, kindly protect it. If you cannot do so due to external foreign pressure, please be loud and clear and resign.
Thanking you,
A law-abiding citizen of India. https://t.co/OKYX1kVcOD
A biker in Pune stopped at a red light, causing a car behind to crash into him. Biker was assaulted by the car driver over this!
This is where we are now?
Eight years after the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) demolished the Annasaheb Magar Stadium at Nehrunagar in Pimpri, work on a new stadium has still not started. The 26-acre site is reportedly overgrown with weeds and littered with garbage, and sports enthusiasts have threatened to protest.
The stadium was demolished around 2016-17, with structural safety given as the reason. At the time, the then civic leadership and local MLA Mahesh Landge had promised an international-standard stadium on the same site, reportedly on the lines of Deccan Gymkhana. It was expected to begin within months. The site is also said to be used to park expensive private vehicles.
The old stadium had a running track, indoor games facilities and training space for different sports, and it was the first stadium in the city. Residents say athletes from Bhosari, Pimpri, Chinchwad and Nehrunagar now struggle to find places to practise. The delay is blamed on bureaucratic hold-ups and a lack of coordination between BJP leaders and senior civic officials. Officials have repeatedly said tenders will be issued or plans are awaiting approval.
Citizens are angry. Chartered accountant and sports enthusiast Arvind Bhosale said there have been only announcements and no actual work. Cricket coach Vijay Jagtap asked how much longer people must wait. Social activist Advocate Ashok Dhaygude said that if the stadium cannot be built, a garden or ground should at least be developed.

Meet Anagha Rajesh
24-year-old entrepreneur who invested ₹5 crore to build a Bengaluru-based lab called BioCompute.
She developed technology that can store data in DNA.
When she approached Indian investors they refused to fund her company because they wanted quick returns, which BioCompute couldn’t promise.
She also received no meaningful support from the Indian government.
Anagha eventually sold her lab for pennies and moved to the United States. As soon as she arrived investors lined up.
Bitter truth: India talks about becoming a global superpower but fails to value the skilled people who want to build India.
FRANCE 🇫🇷 : A heartbreaking scene😢.
A business owner desperately pleads with looters and vandals to leave her shop alone.
Her livelihood is being destroyed before her eyes.
No business owner should have to endure this.
