@ewarren Whoever is creating more jobs for those who want to do something to EARN a living and contributing to the growth of America's economy deserves whatever amount they earn.
@ra50504588@krqegarate@krqe If she becomes Governor I anticipate the state will spiral into a state of chaos with the entire state sensing there will be no true leadership.
State policies are encouraging families to let the government take care of their children. If policies allowed for higher pay because of a stronger local economy (not handouts) and better work opportunities, parents would have to work less (if they work at all) and be able to better take care of their families themselves
After being on Vivitrol (or similar) their tolerance is much lower so they can die from their next hit if they use again. Although Vivitrol does not produce a high, a detox is required from it. If someone does not detox properly they will feel so aweful they are are highly likely to use again for relief.
I'm not saying it's a bad plan. If this can be figured out it would be an even better plan.
Another part of your plan that I think is a positive is they will know the community cares about them. Many addicts feel no one cares.
One caution- after getting off of Vivitol, they are highly susceptible to overdose if they use again because of their lowered tolerance. Also, although Vivitrol does not produce a high, detox from Vivitrol is also required. How will your plan handle this?
@pgessing@KOBTV@bobkkob Families being encouraged to spend time talking to, reading to and teaching their little ones life skills and lessons is far more valuable. ' Crib to college' should be the parent's role, not the government's.
@beauhightowerdn@StateFarm I've been with them for over 35 years. Had a claim recently and they were great. I think your local rep can make a difference. Mine went to bat for me, even though I was at fault, and helped.
@pgessing@MargueriteRoza@ASmithAZ And Legislators keep giving more money to education and outcomes are not showing measureable improving. APS spends over $36k per student per year! Each student could have their own private tutor for that.
