It’s a crazy world.
Doctors getting their third shot to avoid even the possibility of ECMO.
While others are trying to get home ECMO in order to avoid getting their first shot.
I would pay to watch footage of someone doing their "own research" on vaccines. Share your screen because I am absolutely dying to know what you're looking at
But when people are so blatantly wrong about vaccines (some of whom are healthcare professionals), my patience to be nice and respectful is wearing thin.
People are dying due to stupidity and the acceptance of it. /4
There is a wave of people that think that they know something, and they don't. They talk among eachother, and the ball of bad information gets bigger.
Maybe it's a failure of our public health system, maybe it's a failure of some of our academic institutions. I don't know./3
Unpopular opinion: We are being too nice and PC and it's getting people killed. Some people barely passed bio, but we are supposed to pretend that their opinion on covid and vaccines is just as important as an epidemiologist. /1
Was in a room for 1.5 hours, coding a COVID patient.
Patient didn’t make it. We knew from the beginning but we still tried.
We in healthcare are trying. We are getting vaccinated. We are working overtime. We are getting burnt out.
I need everyone else to try: get vaxxed.
Can’t believe that we invented an entirely new class of vaccine and got it to market in under a year after billions of dollars and superhuman scientific effort and we’re doing a third wave anyway
People say things like, “are you anesthesia?” and it makes me laugh every time. Like imagine going up to a cardiology fellow like, “Hey, are you diuretics?”
Not getting a vaccine is like driving through a red light. It's your decision. But you're not the only one who experiences the consequences of that decision.
