@Uber_Support I fail to see why your drivers can cancel a ride before they show up and I still get charged a cancellation fee for the time they were driving….
@AnonsInTheVoid Dxd hEDS, MCAS, POTS, Fibro I usually react to flu vaccine. Shot 1, tired, headache for 24 hours. Shot 2, fever, mild aches, fatigue for 2 days. Totally tolerable for me. I imagine it will be a long time before we have data on our population. Do what’s best for you!
@osteospoonie@bennessb I feel I may never fully accept it. There’s times where I’m realistic & accepting then there’s sporadic moments I say “f**k it” and kinda deny my disability, if that makes sense. I still cycle through the 5 stages and it’s been 15 years. Sending love, friend.
@SandalsResorts We’ve been calling this number for 5 hours. We’ve spoken to one agent who said they couldn’t help since our package was booked at our last resort. At this point we are considering canceling unless you can get us to speak to someone in less than 5 hours.
@SandalsResorts been calling or on hold for 5 hours. Wait time was supposed to be under 20 minutes. We’ve tried call back feature 3 times with no calls. Chat says they can’t help with existing reservations booked at resort. Would you like our business or should we cancel?
Been waiting to see an #EDS specialist. Get the call to schedule for July of 2022. I have a vacation scheduled so I asked for the week after. Nurse replies, “these appointments are very hard to get, so I would suggest moving your vacation”
Wow. Thanks so much. 🙃 #NEISvoid
@ChronicTami It was flare in a syringe for me, too! I was expecting it, but, I know how to operate in a flare and what my body needs. I have 0 clue how Covid could affect me long term and would take a flare over those potential long term effects any day!
Anyone else with EDS sit wrong because they’re so flexible they don’t realize they’re hurting themselves? Like my hip dislocated and I didn’t notice until I stood up. Does that make sense 😂
@Dano_Sawr Obviously, the more people vaccinated the better, and I would take what we can get. But, according to WHO, we would miss the mark by 8%. We need approximately 95% vaccination of the population to reach herd immunity if I’m understanding correctly

I left medical school as my health declined. It pains me that I gave up on my dream, but, when someone asks me “who manages your care?” The answer is me. It always has been. Being a patient is a second job. I’ve had 40+ appointments since December😑
All my specialists ask "who is managing your care?" And then shake their heads when I explain no one. As if they themselves didn't create and foster a medical career that values specialization above all else. 1/6
