The Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent organized an International Humanitarian Conference in Cairo to support Gaza.

The conference was held in collaboration @ifrc and was attended by representatives from Red Cross , Red Crescent societies from , in addition to embassies , UN agencies. The main focus of the conference was address issues related to
Health,
Food, water,
Effective coordination with humanitarian partners,
and ensuring the safety of humanitarian workers.

International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies - #IFRC and #Libyan Red Crescent teams conducted training on PMER, assessment and data collection where participants also trained on the Multi-Sector Needs #Assessment (MSNA) tool, including #WASH.

This training empowered participants with the skills and knowledge to assess humanitarian needs accurately in addition to WASH needs and seamlessly integrate WASH considerations into MSNA.

By strengthening assessment capabilities, IFRC and #Libyan Red Crescent laying the groundwork for targeted and impactful humanitarian interventions.

This #training will ensure that humanitarian services, including WASH, are directed appropriately to address the specific needs of affected communities, promoting their well-being and resilience.

The Egyptian Red Crescent team has been working continuously for over 40 days. Despite the mission leader being injured, he has not and will not be late in fulfilling his humanitarian duty and helping those in need. Many thanks to Mr. Lotfy Geith and all the staff and Voulnteers

The Egyptian Red Crescent announced the volume of aid provided by the Arab Republic of Egypt and some countries of the world which amounted to (approximately 9,000 tons). Food aid constituted about 50% while medical aid constituted about 25%and relief aid constituted about 25%

at the beginning of calamity in Gaza in 7th of October we sent humanitarian aid from our strategic storage are located in ismailia governorate via rafah cross this before was closed. after opening we sent about 360 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid According to priority.
