Quick Claude Opus 5.5 test. Creating a history of money until Bitcoin under 3 minutes. Using Elevenlabs for the voice over.
PS : The price of $BTC they used by the end of the video is still using September 2026 price 🤭
Bitcoin is defended by ~23,000 nodes. It should be 23 million.
Years of "NgU" and "diamond hand" narratives have caused most "Bitcoiners" to be apathetic hodlrs and price speculators.
Do your part. Run a node. Encourage others to do the same.

I was able to decompile and analyse 494 wallets on the AppStore.
I found 45 apps that raised red flags for me during my research.
I looked specifically for 2 things: private keys exfiltration and weak entropy.
With so much of my X feed occupied by US debt sustainability discussions & the 25th anniversary of 9/11 attacks, I can't help but think about this from 2004.
I remember laughing at this 22 years ago, but nobody seems to be laughing anymore.
What would you do if you found the private key to an address holding 250 BTC?

This is a true cypherpunk story exploring the early archaeology of Bitcoin.

Featuring my man @HodlTarantula as the anonymous miner "Chuck" because he's perfect for the part! (likeness used without permission).

This is an adaptation of a talk by a security researcher named Ryan Castelluci, given at DEFCON 23 (2015). You can still watch the presentation today on YouTube. See source notes at the end of the comic.
I also did my own blockchain archaeology, found all the relevant wallets from his talk and verified the evidence on-chain, myself. See source notes at the end of the comic for the addresses and on-chain data.
I came across this topic while researching how to add a security feature called anti-exfil to DIY bitcoin signing devices and coordinator software (@SeedSigner@SparrowWallet@selfcustodykrux (also Kern), @nunchuk_io@BULLBITCOIN_ - and shoutout to @BitcoinShooter for getting it working on @BlockstreamJade - now we're teaming up!), and while working on that, I wanted to dig deep into the types of attacks it helps prevent.
This sent me down a long rabbit hole, ECDSA failures, reused/predictable nonces, Dark Skippy to "The Curious Case of the half-Half Nonces", and then to this story - about brainwallets, as almost a footnote in the half-half story...So I'm starting here, it's the easiest one to tackle, and I'm hoping to learn this well enough that I can explain it clearly...here's hoping.
The comic panels aren't perfect, it's AI, and I did this relatively quickly, so I can move onto the deeper levels of this project.
To create the script, I watched Ryan's YouTube presentation about 5 times, downloaded and corrected the transcript, and then made a 12-page sketch of what I hoped to show on each page to detail the story.
I fed that transcript and my 12-page sketch into a BUNCH of models;
- GPT 5.6 Sol Medium - Very bland and boring!
- Gemini 3.1 Pro - Did better, gave some stuff to work with, still not great.
- KimiK3 - now this one did really good! I liked this one the best.
- Deepseek V4 Pro - I accidentally left the Kimi script in the same folder, and it just told me "the script already exists, but I corrected some inconsistencies"...oh well.
In the end I took all 3 scripts and rewrote them into one. Then I kept adjusting it - honestly until the very last page was done, I kept making changes...hope it came out good.
All in - about 1-2 days of research and thinking. 1 day of script wrangling, and then another 2 of generating pages and then fixing individual panels or text boxes. Some fixes I had the AI do, some I had to manually do myself in Illustrator.
Anyway, this is getting too long - I'll let you get to Page 1 of 12! Enjoy and let me know what you think!
Today, we remember Hal Finney 🧡
After passing away from ALS 12 years ago today, Bitcoin has crossed many milestones thanks to Hal's contributions.
Thank you, Hal.

Unpopular Opinion: We should rename “Bitcoin hardware wallets” to “Bitcoin signing devices.”
It’d fix so many problems in understanding for Bitcoin beginners and make it evident why a passphrase is needed.
Everything is a @SeedSigner with extra steps and tradeoffs.
As some of you may be aware, we will likely be importing more cheap foreign beef in order to cut the cost at the grocery store for the consumers-this is likely a midterm election strategy as people don’t vote for incumbents when food is too expensive
The down stream effect of this is that it will likely cause many American ranchers to go out of business unless additional help is sent their way
In the mean time, if you can afford to do so, please buy directly from ranchers if you can-it might be the difference between them going out of business or surviving to keep on doing what they do the best in the world, producing high quality beef!

Charlie Kirk had the best idea to keep government honest with our money. Be completely transparent about spending.
"It is not the government's money. We are the sovereign. We earn the money and the government extracts it from us with our consent."
