@uknowtheanswer They are all alike. They have all these ideas (which they think are 'brilliant' when in actuality they are counterproductive to their actual mission - another story for another time) but they are NOT willing to do one thing that inconveniences themselves yet they expect us to.

I am entitled to my opinion. I think many of you are backing the wrong team. Where do you think Canada would be without the USA? We should be seeking solutions & NOT creating a divide. Our leaders do NOT care about us & if you think they do, you have NOT been paying attention.

Whether people agree or disagree is up to them, but how can anyone fault a leader for looking out for his country and his people?! I know we are used to getting the shaft here in Canada, so maybe most just don't understand the premise.

@uknowtheanswer Nailed it. Especially with the entire province only having a population the size of the city of Hamilton. And, NL'ers (and many Canadians) cannot afford to buy everything they need because Beavis and Butthead have wasted taxpayers' money, let alone buy the more expensive choice.

Auto insurance will increase to astronomical prices once these area stats catch up with the market. If small businesses/restaurants think NL'ers are unable to support them now due to a lack of disposable income, you just wait. These costs coupled with keeping NL Power in profits!
