Our 2 Interventional Fellows at Birmingham City Hospital have both successfully been appointed as Consultants Interventional Cardiologists this week
Fantastic guys who will make fantastic colleagues for their new centres
⭐️Well done George & Yousif
@CardiologySWBH
A&E night shift, talking with colleagues. The clapping, we know it's well-meant.
But it was moving at first, now meaningless when so many are apologising for government failures that have led to our colleagues' deaths. We are not heroes. We are unprotected workers, being killed.
A team of researchers looked at driving habits across medical specialties. They found: "Rates of extreme speeding were highest among psychiatrists who received a ticket, whereas cardiologists were the most likely to be driving a luxury car when ticketed." https://t.co/V27GkXrjDE
My last day of working at cardiac rehab @CardiologySWBH@SWBHnhs have worked in the trust since 1996 so huge change working somewhere else in the new year. It’s been a pleasure and privilege to work in cardiology and my journey has certainly been interesting. #thankyou
Meeting for supporting patients with Defibrillators @SWBHnhs - a very good attendance with lots of questions being asked #education#heartdisease#ICD/CRTD
