@viggy_krishnan@matt_slotnick Do "payments to distribution partners" include implicitly payment for inference costs (i.e. COGS) in addition to distribution (i.e. S&M)? But also: they could book as net revenue, in which case GMs would be much higher!
@Noahpinion Solar and wind are like bread and butter. Complements. Cheaper to build a mixed system with less battery storage than it is to build pure solar + battery
$META Muse is v cool - well implemented and giving away so much compute it'll be hard to match (~$1,500 free compute per month at API prices lol). Brave new world for $GOOG search... they can obviously launch a similar product but share will be lower? Thoughts @accrued_int
@dylan522p@suchenzang It's principal + interest, not just principal - but your point about value not yet received would be the same for capital financed by debt
@TheShortBear Adds/trims tells you the most... biggest adds were $YPF, $NTRA , $STM & $BRCM. Biggest sales were $AMZN, $GOOG, $WWD, $TEVA, $BE and a financials ETF. Hard to draw a strong AI narrative from that action https://t.co/HHih9LWVcU
@bennpeifert Hilarious argument... but at least he can argue this view explicitly, which is an improvement over his "platform value" rollup days. At least the man is learning!
@RecurveCapital For $SMCI, this seems highly likely to just be an excuse to issue equity? Even with their leverage, seems like they could finance working capital for firm orders from $GOOG, $META etc. And could likely keep is off bs too
