I'm actually so sick and tired of people claiming that students NEED to go back for their mental health. Online school is taking a toll on mental health, but so does the anxiety of catching COVID and passing it on, so does the grief of losing loved ones to COVID.
Bitter sweet that the class is already complete, it was a blast! Thank you @virtualcasey and all of my classmates for a great summer term! :) <3 Have a great summer everyone!
I do not think that the benefits of online participation outweigh the pressures and complications of the “always on” lifestyle because I truly believe that the "always on" lifestyle does not allow us to be in the moment and appreciate the little things in life. #315WeekEight
However, in high school I was "always on". I would delete social media platforms because I would get overwhelmed. I would also force myself to get off my phone as of 9 pm. #315WeekEight
I do not feel like I am "always on", however there are certain periods of the day in which I do feel "always on". For example, when I am busy working I almost never have my phone with me or check social media. Like right before bed, I lay in bed glued to my phone. #315WeekEight
