H.E. President @edmnangagwa is the Guest of Honour at the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe 2026 Spiritual Conference currently underway at the Rufaro Conference Centre, Chatsworth, Masvingo. The Conference is being held under the theme: “Elevation, Excellence and Impact”. Honourable O.C.Z. Muchinguri-Kashiri is representing the President.

The Government of Zimbabwe values the pivotal role being played by the Church, and specifically the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe, in the moral, spiritual and social development of the nation. The theme of the Conference resonates with the Second Republic’s development agenda of pursuing ‘Elevation’ of our people, ‘Excellence’ in service delivery, and ‘Impact’ in transforming lives and communities.

Today we are in Mbare, where remarkable progress is taking place at the Matapi Flats. This is the inside of one of the flats currently undergoing a full renovation, with the project now 95% complete. As work on this block nears completion, equipment is already being moved to the next block, ensuring the transformation continues without delay.

This project demonstrates President E.D. Mnangagwa's @edmnangagwa commitment to his pledge that "no place and no one shall be left behind." Through public-private partnerships and urban renewal, long-neglected communities are being given a new lease on life with safer, more dignified living conditions.

The Second Republic's development agenda is reaching every corner of the country, and the visible changes in Mbare are a testament to that commitment.
