I operate a high-performing early learning center (preschool) in Texas with almost $3mm in revenue. We opened in 2024, broke records in our first month, and reached full occupancy within 14 months. Now I’m building School #2 — and sharing the entire journey. #childcare#daycare
@VinnyMartorano Decisions that lead to this? Sure. Go find the asshole who made it downpour the day before the festival. Outside of that what are you going on about Ryan?
@SenSanders This post makes zero sense. Loans bills are higher because the admin is finally requiring payment instead of ongoing post covid deferrals. “Cuts to education” have nothing to do with prior loans.
@DavidPiotrowski Bank statements too. Wouldn’t have caught it except for the below balance fee. Beginning and ending balances and daily balances all edited.
It’s hard and manual labor and often can be off standard working hours. It’s a commodity for many businesses to procure with near unlimited competition. But customers will stay until enough is enough. Pay will ultimately be capped likely before the pay and incentives can be truly “right”. I also believe even if the pay is right a large portion of labor will still not last.
We see similar in childcare centers. We can pay above market, benefits, offer training and advancement, good culture. We still see a fairly large portion of new hires not make it past 90 days or 120 days. I do agree the good people with the right passion do tend to stay.
@3ambedtimeguy Well 1) why did you spend so much on the choice of the college you went to and 2) why haven’t you been paying it back at more than the bare minimums?
@FranWalsh73 As a childcare center owner , I actually have fair very people using this or ask about it.
One negative thing is they are typically debit card style cards and unfortunately i do get charged fees that I then pass on to customers (3%) (verses ACH is free).
Real estate obviously a huge part of wealth growth (or at least was) for many of us in our 30s. For your fire definition are you saying ideally no rentals or what?
I have too many. Want to dump the less profitable ones but I have some that provide some great returns I plan to keep at least for the foreseeable future. Late 30s.
