Every generation needs a solid foundation so as to avoid cracks on the walls of their moral, phycological, mental, communication etc.. structure.
Thanks to #NiqsEsutChapter for the symposium yesterday.
It was a pleasure to have #TheBuildersAssembly host us.
Fellow Nigerians, good morning.
I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you.
Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances.
We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal.
More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism.
We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power.
Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise.
Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them.
However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building.
Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated.
And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions.
There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline?
Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
@Shadaya_Knight I've come to realise that men are expected to be responsible for their lives and that of everyone that comes around them.
Your mistake is yours, her mistake is yours too!!
“Sharia law is for Muslims only”.
6 RECENT EXAMPLES WHY THIS STATEMENT IS A DIRTY DISGUSTING LIE.
1. Deborah a Christian non-Muslim was murdered and burnt to death in Sokoto for ‘blasphemy’ by islamist barbaric bigoted terrorists in 2022 simply because she said a class WhatsApp group should not be turned into an arena for Islamic broadcasts.
“Sharia law is for Muslims only”.
2. But in 2022, a Christian woman in Bauchi called Rhoda Jatau was thrown into prison for 18months on charges of “blasphemy”. What was her actual offence? She shared posts on WhatsApp that condemned the brutal barbaric lynching of Deborah by animalistic lunatic terrorists. Pls google Rhoda Jatau and read about her sad case. It took public outcry to get her released.
3. But in March 2025, four northern Nigerian states—Bauchi, Katsina, Kano, and Kebbi—ordered all public and private schools to close for 5weeks to observe the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. This was a decision that affected little school kids across the states- even Christian children.
“Sharia law is for Muslims only”
4. But just 2months ago, in September 2025, Kano State terrorist Hisbah Police officials confiscated and will destroy at least 1,600 bottles of assorted beer. Just 2 months ago. This is not the first time. This won’t be the last time. Why is Hisbah destroying and targeting beer meant for non-Muslims if not that this is shariah law enforced on everyone regardless of their faith?
“Sharia law is for Muslims only”.
5. But just in March 2025, the notorious terrorist Hisbah Police arrested about 60 young people for “indecent haircuts” and also arrested commercial tricycle riders for allegations of carrying male and female passengers together. This was just 8months ago.
“Sharia law is for Muslims only”.
6. And now coming to you specifically Bashir, in 2015, you personally publicly supported the death penalty to execute and murder some young people in Kano over ‘blasphemy’. Your tweet is still everywhere for all to see. And in 2024, you still defended this position.
I will provide evidence and links to all of the above news/information that I have stated in the tweets that follow this one- to convince anyone who reads this just so they know what an unrepentant lying propagandist that you are.
Bashir, why do you lie so much, so frequently and so effortlessly? Is there no punishment in Islam for lying, and lying so brazenly, so shamelessly and so publicly?
Brother why do you lie so much? Why???

TERRORISTS ATTACK TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI IN KUKAWA LGA, BORNO STATE
In the early hours of 25th November 2024, an unconfirmed number of terrorists, mounted on gun trucks and motorcycles, launched an attack on troops of the 101 Special Forces Battalion under Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) in Kukawa Town, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State. The attackers attempted to breach the camp using a Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) from the Gudumbali axis.
The gallant troops, in a coordinated and determined response, engaged the terrorists with overwhelming firepower, bolstered by support from the Air Component and the Nigerian Army's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Command. This resolute defense forced the terrorists into a disorganized retreat, leaving behind heavy casualties.
During the confrontation, 12 terrorists were neutralized, while many others fled with gunshot wounds. The following items were recovered from the terrorists:
• 5 AK-47 rifles
• 1 RPG bomb
• 1 RPG tube
• 2 Anti-Aircraft (AA) guns
• 1 QJC gun
• 1 NSV heavy machine gun
• 40 motorcycles
• 152 rounds of Shilka ammunition, among other items.
Additionally, four out of seven VBIEDs deployed by the terrorists were destroyed.
Regrettably, three brave soldiers paid the ultimate price during the attack. Efforts to clear and exploit the area are ongoing, with house-to-house searches being conducted to ensure the area is secure.
The Acting Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen OO Oluyede, commended the troops for their courage and urged them to sustain their momentum with ongoing clearance operations and fighting patrols.
Operation HADIN KAI remains steadfast in its mission to eliminate the remnants of terrorism in the Northeast, fostering an environment where socio-economic activities can thrive in line with its mandate.
@HQNigerianArmy Seeing Intel like this makes some of us living in Borno state trust the effort of the @HQNigerianArmy .
GOD continue to bless and protect the gallant soldiers who but their lives on the line.
