A shocking corruption case has emerged from Sasaram, where Circle Officer (CO) Akash Kumar Rauniyar was allegedly caught red-handed by the vigilance department while accepting a bribe of ₹3 lakh.
What makes the incident even more shocking is that the money was reportedly being taken from his own department’s revenue employee, Rakesh Kumar.
These officials often deliver big speeches in interviews about integrity, transparency, and public service. But in reality, corruption continues to operate openly behind the scenes.
If officers are allegedly taking bribes from their own staff, one can only imagine the struggles faced by ordinary citizens for getting basic government work done. Incidents like these are the reason public trust in the system keeps eroding.

सासाराम के CO आकाश कुमार रौनियार को निगरानी विभाग की टीम ने 3 लाख रुपये रिश्वत लेते गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोप है कि वे विवादित जमीन के परिमार्जन मामले में अपने ही विभाग के राजस्व कर्मचारी से रिश्वत ले रहे थे। कार्रवाई मोड़ सराय स्थित आवास पर की गई।

I have been using Airtel broadband service for more than a year. We rely on this broadband for various use, mainly office work. I understand sometimes issues happen but here the disturbance is very frequent. Today too the service is not working since morning.
@Swiggy I even asked for options so that I can justify my concern. My order was for few hundreds only but what if order value was high and such incidents repeat multiple time.
The approach which I found of Swiggy team was very unresponsive.
