@PoD_travelnews Any chance you could do that today as there is 3 hr queues and it’s not a surprise that the weather is favourable for a getaway.
Could see it coming !!!!!
@POferriesupdate Your ferry is late , why haven’t you informed us all. We’ve been here for 1hr 50 as advised to be.
Boat leaves at 17.20
It’s 5pm and nobody is loading
@POFerriesFR8 will anymore ferries be put on for the busy Friday this week , you have one at 4.15 in the morning then nothing until 18.50pm . Do they sleep during the day ?
@POferriesupdate What’s available to book on the 27th May ? Website says no sailings ? Yet I have a booking from a week ago .., confused to say the least
@LeShuttle Came through Calais today
Total chaos in the car park , gridlock, nobody taking charge , everyone clueless.
3 members of staff spread over the entirety.
Told to park up and wait but couldn’t say if he would then tell us to queue again.
Not impressed.
Folkestone outbound superb
@LeShuttle Hi, Travelling Friday mid afternoon and would like to know if we arrive early can you put us on an earlier Train if space is available ?
It would be a good idea for keeping the traffic build up reduced at the terminal as I understand you have limited space.
@POferriesupdate @MartinWhatty You can get a time from DFDS you are using their ships so there is a dialogue.. make a bad situation better and proactively obtain information on sailings including departure times and available spaces…
@POferriesupdate@gdxsil P&O What you need to do Proactively for your customers is check the availability on DFDS on their departures after the departure time on your boats.
That way it would be transparent and your customers can decide to arrive or abort sailing.
Ie: Departure time and spaces available
@feistywomankent@POferries Make it clear what your P&O customers need to do when you decide to close shop !!
Turn up at DFDS booth or collect a voucher from P&O first .
**** INFORMATION ***** costs nothing. Get you act in order !!
@POferriesupdate DFDS do not sail at the same times, when you add in hundreds of people arriving for P&O then having to join a later DFDS departure, then add the fact DFDS have their own customers and may be fully booked or limited capacity it reeks of frustration and wasted hours. Not fit !!!!!
