Uganda’s Third Revolution Is Economic
The next revolution in Uganda is not political. It is economic. We must stop blind trade, build standards, cut logistics costs, and finance local businesses to compete globally.

How Political Parties Really Emerge |
Political parties do not begin with individuals. They are built around shared interests, shared threats, and a common national purpose.
This reflection explains how history shaped political movements, from France to Uganda, and why national interest must always be bigger than narrow personal ambition.
Biology is not ideology.
Real change isn’t about age, identity, or labels, it’s about ideas, systems, and who controls production and power.
Focus on structure, not sentiment.
That’s where transformation begins.

The conversations are centered on practical leadership decisions, how governments can create enabling regulatory environments, mobilise investment, and accelerate digital transformation within national postal systems, with emphasis on cooperation between countries to ensure smoother cross-border delivery, improved customs coordination, and better integration of postal services into the digital economy.
The Round Table reflects a shared understanding that sustainable progress requires not only technical reforms but also clear political will and coordinated action plans.

Retire the Mandatory Requirement for a Postal Address.
".......@URSBHQ, the very entity that enforces this provision, does not use P.O. Boxes to communicate with the companies and businesses it regulates. Why must businesses pay for a service that neither they nor URSB use?"

Every year, Uganda debates what deserves priority in the budget, yet Vision 2040 already settled that.
Our real task isn’t to argue over allocations but to stay disciplined on the path of industrial & Economic transformation.

This morning, I welcomed Mr. Herbert Mensah, President of Rugby Africa, and his delegation to Uganda. I thanked them for including us in the Webb Ellis Rugby World Cup Trophy tour ahead of the 2025 Rugby Africa Cup. Rugby is vigorous and excellent for fitness, but more importantly, it builds teamwork. You cannot succeed on individual brilliance alone. That is the spirit our country needs, unity and shared purpose.
I was also surprised to hear praise for our sports infrastructure. We are just getting started and will make it better. What we first built was peace. Uganda had collapsed, it was a failed state. Everything else now stands on that foundation of peace. I wish them good luck in the tournament and a pleasant stay in Uganda.
Yesterday, we hosted the Founders’ Midterm Review at the National ICT Innovation Hub, a reflection point for over 40 startup founders who set goals earlier this year.
From celebrating milestones to candid conversations about what’s working (and what’s not), the day was filled with strategy, storytelling, and renewed energy.
We assessed progress, explored emerging opportunities, and identified the support founders need to finish the year on a strong note.
