Mumbai traffic cops regularly worsen people's commute, manifold, by manually "controlling" traffic, even when FULLY WORKING SIGNALS are there. Either ill trained, or plain callous, they take the stranded people totally for granted. @MTPHereToHelp Eg. Just now at Labour Camp chowk

This is a Century Old Manhole cover spotted at Dadar few years ago by @rajtoday built for Bombay Improvement Trust BIT made in 1922.
In Those days things were built to last....
Hope it's still there? It's a piece of Mumbai History.

In Mar 2023, we had also approached MPCB for controlling air pollution due to a pvt builder's RMC plant in Kanjurmarg E.
No change to date. Photo below is the RMC plant smoking pollution away into the air we breathe (present day). https://t.co/cK2pMM8c3B

Why was Mr. Nitin Shukla, AC FN Ward, transferred before completing 3 years? In just 7 weeks??
A sincere, diligent officer loved by the public for his work. His sudden transfer raises concerns. @Dev_Fadnavis@mybmc@narendramodi@richapintoi@MNCDFbombay

@Uni_Mumbai Life sciences related grad and post grad students could benefit immensely from associating with beach cleaning programs, and the Uni could actually set up the Marine Conservation Centre suggested in this post - https://t.co/gDFlnzFlTf
Week 127 .
Fantastic news for Mumbai .
We got back Olive Ridley Sea Turtle after 20 years. Historic moment
Nested and Hatched at our beach. We facilitate their journey to ocean.
Constant cleaning helps marine species.
Marine conservation centre needed at @versovabeach

Would you say BMC should learn from the Germans? Or, should just do as THEY THEMSELVES did things such as this, decades ago-perfectly; making MUMBAI a BEAUTIFUL CITY TO LIVE IN. An era when they took their work seriously.
Caring for stray dogs and cats-quite a few citizens on LBS Marg very appreciably doing it right-feeding is disciplined in timing and spot-without troubling others. Plus their timely sterilisation for population control, and vaccination for their health and people's safety.
@mumbaimatterz@mybmcInfra@Technivirrus The uniform frequency and smoothness of those rectangular tar patches is, by BMC standards, truly a marvel of modern road making.
@MTPHereToHelp PLEASE NOTE - private buses stop IN THE CENTRE OF THE ROAD and pick up office goers. That's because other similar buses have already occupied the left most lane-ILLEGAL PARKING. Daily commuters do not deserve this harassment.
A fire erupted at Sai Sapphire building in Powai today around 9.30 am. According to fire brigade officials the blaze is on the 17th floor duct off a ground plus 24 storey structure. There are no reports of any injuries yet.
More details are awaited.
There is a mini Fire station without staff and a fire brigade near the building. We have raised the issue several times but still no action has been taken by @mybmcWardL to resolve the issue.

@MTPHereToHelp Traffic Police, PLEASE TAKE ACTION!! LBS Marg road safety is at its worst, it cannot be neglected further. We have written letters to TP, sought meetings since 2018. All the issues persist, infact some are getting worse.
@CleanAlm I was about to take a U turn from Xavier's school and a rock coming from opp side was about to bang me!! Is police waiting for some serious incident to happen!! Then take action?
