@ShoulderGeek1 Massive fan , purchased endless stuff over the years , and invaluable. But just out of curiosity, why 12 months access , really don’t get this in the industry ? Can’t think of another product that you would buy and then have to give back after 12 months
@Retlouping@tomgoom@lizbayleyphysio Does it really matter ? Point being these loads are often way short of those faced in activity or sport so once you reach a strength capacity move along the plyo metric continuum where greater elastic loads can be experienced and in many cases not measured 🤷♂️
@Irish_Physio Do you think MSc in sports medicine a useful addition for therapist’s, in relation to gaining that knowledge in scans etc .A middle ground maybe 🤔

ACL reduction priorities model...
Bigger bubble = bigger priority/impact
Crossover = inter-relationship
It's not perfect, so how do you think it can improve?
Or what is clearly missing in your opinion?
No getting angry please!
@Retlouping Could we not just except that both manual therapy and strength training utilise a heuristic approach at best? Both practices rely heavily on generalised programmes, which is not right or wrong. But guess that don’t look good on a t shirt 💪
@SportsTherapy56 Great work Ian! What are you trying to achieve/transfer to?
Depending on answer I’d prob go to raising the bar off the floor a little to optimise trunk pos and knee/hip sequence. But all depends on the bigger picture. Keep at it!
Great example of feel vs real in coaching too!
The reason I don’t slam manual therapy, TENS, Ultrasound or acupuncture about the research being poor quality is because the research supporting what I do (exercise, load/symptom modification, “pain education) is poor quality too.
Strong opinions can’t be held in this space
The discussion here is so interesting
Flexion is safe, and arguably unavoidable - @LouisHowe_SandC
But there seems to be a rhetoric that encouraging a spinal extension intent or a desired to keep ‘visual neutral’ is a waste...
This is how you do a dead lift! I am not an advocate of the flexed back brigade! Yes ... you probably won’t injure your back if the load is light or u have been doing it for years... but it’s like when we thought all swans were white ...& then we realised there are black 1s too!
A simple example while everyone loves to share pictures of powerlifters with significant flexion. But no-one seems to bring up what Olympic weightlifters look like 🤷🏻♂️
