@grok @andrewdoyle_com @campbellclaret If a foundation was set up in the dead individual’s name which was damaged by the claims and/or the family name was damaged and/or the family faces increased threat due to the disinformation, could the foundation and/or surviving family themselves have a strong case?

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

@HugoGye Maybe they do pay for experts but they just don’t pay for the SW1 jabberers… @Dominic2306

E.g. meteorologists on £1m+ from Jane Street et al… real “experts” are sought after and found.

Forcing the lobby to partake in Polymarket (feedback loop) w their own cash would be v fun

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

@Betfair #OddsOnThat Punjab Kings v Royal Challengers Bengaluru, both teams to score a boundary in their first over

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

@willis_macp Would’ve thought Ollie Robinson (Durham) might’ve been preferred given his performances… including whilst batting with Stokes himself!

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

@willis_macp Bit harsh on Ollie Robinson… who is at Durham with Stokesy after all!

OR currently has the highest average in Div 1 + 237 more runs than Smith in only 1 extra innings. A strike rate of 86.81 vs 76.93 as well! From his time @ Kent I can vouch for his outstanding 🧤work as well

Will Crawley be coming into our side @KentCricket? I do hope the ECB aren’t blocking it!

[Surrey Cricket @surreycricket]

Surrey name 15-player squad for the final game of the 2023 season away at Hampshire.

Will Jacks and Jamie Smith will be made available after the completion of England's ODI series with Ireland.

Watch ODC to see real overseas talent!

[Northamptonshire CCC @NorthantsCCC]

This is 6 minutes of pure batting heaven from Prithvi Shaw.

Enjoy. 😍

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

@cricket_badger @Mlawrencesport To be fair, I think you could give sky the top division and BBC the second division. As long as it’s competitive, people new to the game won’t spot the difference in standard between the two.

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

@NotTheHundred @onedaycup Prithvi Shaw signing for Northants must have really pissed off the hundred brigade! Probably the best overseas in the country right now bar Shaheen Afridi. Oh how gutted they would be if someone signed Kohli for ODC 🤣

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

@mattyparky96 @KentCricket Great to have you Matt. Can’t understand how you’ve not been getting game time elsewhere. Stick to your guns, prove them wrong and get back in that test side, we’re all behind you here at Kent!

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

Maybe lancs fans (@lancscccaction) might have some insight or @benjonescricket?

Something simply must have happened, a very strange case.

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

Does anyone know what has happened to Parky and why he is so suddenly out of favour having been the leading spinner in the country consistently for years?

Very worried the clowns got to him, told him to bowl faster & have since ruined his natural gift… turning it a f’ing mile!

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

I’d have said previously that Parky would’ve been one of the most threatening spinners in the world 3rd/4th innings and - given the quality of Root’s bowling recently + the corresponding control he offers - not much of a risk when it’s turning less at the start of the game.

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

@cricket_badger Only joking pal, we all have the odd shocker. Just saw it and made me chuckle 👍🏻

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

😂😂😂😂

[James Buttler / Cricket Badger @Cricket_Badger]

If England picks Zak Crawley for The Ashes, it's the cricket equivalent of putting him in town centre stocks and passing out rotten tomatoes.

The lad's self-esteem, mental health, and career are surely suffering.

He's young enough to come back better. But he's not there now.

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

Which pundit’s spot do we reckon @StuartBroad8 will take on @SkyCricket?

I know where my money is after this series 🤣

They didn’t give him much chat this series but surely there’s no way athers & Nasser - let alone keysey - are letting Butcher get away with this in private!

[Paul Newman @Paul_Newman66]

Mark Butcher brilliant on Sky about Zak Crawley. Argues England have a duty of care to him to leave him out now and it's cruel to keep on picking him. Impossible to disagree. Would be stubborn bordering on pig headed to play him at Old Trafford. He is young enough to return....

[Clive Russell @CliveRussell16]

If you want to see a superstar overseas player watch NCCC in the ODC rather than The Hundred!

A reminder that - as I said all along - if @BCCI wanted to kill @thehundred overnight they could simply encourage other Indian supers stars (E.g. Kohli) to join @PrithviShaw in the ODC!

[Northamptonshire CCC @NorthantsCCC]

Getting straight down to business. 💪

A rapid 65 off just 39 balls for Prithvi in the 2XI this morning. 🤩
