खूंटी जिले के मुरुहू प्रखंड में #महिला_किसान_सशक्तिकरण_परियोजना अंतर्गत तसर की खेती को बढ़ावा देने हेतु लुगम चासी मेले का आयोजन किया गया।
मुरुहू में इस वित्तीय वर्ष 522 किसानों द्वारा 5 लाख 69 हज़ार कुकून का उत्पादन व्यावसायिक बीज के माध्यम से किया गया है।

पश्चिमी सिंहभूम में बुनियादी बीज उत्पादन केंद्र के ज़रिये सखी मंडल की महिलाएँ तसर खेती, बीज उत्पादन एवं प्रसंस्करण कर रहीं हैं।
केंद्र के ज़रिये यह महिलाएँ सालाना 200 से ज्यादा किसानों को तसर खेती के लिए अंडा/बीज उपलब्ध करा लगभग 6 लाख रूपए का व्यापार कर रही हैं।
